The guest canceled the reservation on the day of check-in after all preparations had already been completed, including paid cleaning and blocked dates. The cancellation was due to forgetting about the booking and was followed by a request for a full refund. Situations like this can be challenging for hosts operating on platform policies. Future hosts may want to clearly reconfirm plans prior to arrival.
