Good place, but the heat was turned off before my stay leaving it in the 50s inside which took all night to heat to normal temps, the internet was slow, and the water was hard and kinda destroyed my hair. Otherwise it was really nice, beds were comfortable, place was cute, and well located for my needs.

Host double booked the property. We arrived at the VRBO to find it occupied. The current occupant and myself both contacted the host who told me "Oops, I messed up and didn't update the system when it was rented on another platform." Host asked me to cancel the reservation and when I stated I couldn't, she told me that she would alter the reservation so she could cancel it. No repercussions for her, but I was left without lodging and had to alter my families planned vacation by finding a hotel. (We wasted hours travelling to the VRBO that we had properly rented, then wasted another hour to find a hotel that would take pets and finally had to disrupt the next day's plan, due to her error.) I would NOT trust this host. She ruined our couple of days in Clermont with her error. Additionally, her lack of accountability came across as smug and demeaning.

Thank you for your review. I’m sorry for the inconvenience caused by what appears to have been a rare system sync issue, as my calendar updates automatically and this had never happened before. As soon as I was notified, I offered an alternative property for the **same price** so your stay wouldn’t be affected. You chose another accommodation, which I respect, but any additional cost came from that decision, not from me. I was later asked for reimbursement outside the platform, which I couldn’t do for security reasons, as all transactions must stay within the platform. I understand how stressful travel issues can be and appreciate your feedback.
