Grocery store in Cle Elum (Safeway) as well as delicious meat store (Owen Meats), Bakeries (509 and Cle Elum Bakery in Cle Elum), Pubs (both in Suncadia in the Lodge - 56 Degrees, the Swiftwater Winery and the Brick in Roslyn - many others too in the two small towns). Roslyn has a superb Farmers Market as well as many other festivals and celebrations throughout the year. Ellensburg features a large annual Rodeo on Labor Day weekend as well as a Farmers Market.
Biking, Hiking and Snow Shoeing Trails throughout Suncadia as well as just outside Suncadia. Horseback Riding near the entrance to Suncadia. White water rafting, fly fishing with Trout Water (they will pick you up from your door step).

About Joan and Chris Davies
Purchased this home in 2012 - we wanted to feel like we were on holiday and enjoy all the amenities of the area. We had most recently lived in Bainbridge Island, Washington and decided that this was the place to be to enjoy golf, swimming, biking, the trails and the winter sports. We have been so excited with the amount of activities here (concerts, movies, wine tastings, Suncadia Club and many more). When we aren't here, we rent our home for others to enjoy!

We looked for quite a while and decided that Suncadia was where we wanted to live. So our qualifications for our search for a home was to be architecturally attractive, large living area, private areas (both in the bedrooms and outdoor space), and have lots of areas to enjoy the outside (5 separate areas!). We also wanted walkability - to everywhere - and to be able to ride bikes on all the wonderful trails, golf (and not travel to get there), take a walk, swim and meet many nice people. This property has provided all that we wanted and more! The home is gorgeously built and so close to all the Suncadia amenities.
