Two mini-split air conditioning units and ceiling fans throughout the chalet keep the space cool and comfortable on warm summer days, while the propane stove adds cozy charm for cooler mountain evenings.

Wonderful property with great views and amenities. The great room is comfortable, there's plenty of space, and kitchen is well appointed. Our kids loved the bunk room where there is room for 6. Location is convenient to North Conway and Jackson. Host is very friendly and communicative, we will be back!
The hosts were incredibly accommodating and thoughtful throughout our stay. We were especially touched by the New Year’s Eve accessories they left for us—hats, necklaces, and festive touches that made the evening extra special. The basket of toiletries in the bathroom and the snacks they provided were also very much appreciated. The living room was cozy and inviting, especially with the gas fireplace, and everything in the house worked perfectly. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, making it easy to cook. After the snow, someone came to plow and sand, which was a huge help. The hosts were always available if we needed anything and responded right away. Overall, a wonderful and comfortable stay—we would happily return.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Sparacio
Hi! I’m Karen — a New Jersey transplant who has called Boston home for most of my adult life, but my heart belongs to the White Mountains. That's where I feel most at peace. They’re my escape, my inspiration, and the place where some of my favorite memories are made.
As a host, I love sharing that connection with others. There’s something magical about watching guests discover the mountains that I’ve treasured for years. My hope is that your stay isn’t just a getaway, but an experience you’ll remember long after you head home — the kind that becomes part of your family’s stories.
When I’m not hosting, you’ll find me exploring hiking trails, photographing mountain views, or enjoying local craft brews and live music — and when I’m not among the mountains, I’m often in Uganda, my second home, where I work alongside women as they build empowered, fulfilling lives.
I want your time here to feel warm, easy, and comfortable — like a true home-away-from-home in the mountains. If there’s anything you need or anything I can recommend to make your stay even better, I’m always happy to help.
Why they chose this property
What makes our property stand out is the way it brings people together. The bright, sun-filled great room—with its cathedral ceilings and oversized sectional that practically envelops you—is the heart of the home. It’s the perfect spot to unwind after a day on the slopes, stay toasty by the fire, and soak in the majestic mountain views right through the windows.
Combined with the bunk room kids adore, the spacious dining table made for shared meals, and a peaceful corner-lot setting close to multiple ski mountains, this chalet offers the ideal blend of comfort, charm, and true White Mountains magic for families and groups alike.
What makes this property unique
Our neighborhood is one of those rare spots where the mountains feel close enough to touch. Surrounded by quiet streets, tall pines, and views that shift beautifully with the seasons, it’s the kind of place where you can breathe a little deeper and instantly feel at ease. What I love most is the rhythm of the days here: heading out for skiing, hiking, or exploring, then coming home to the warmth of the chalet — cozy, relaxed, and still buzzing with that mountain energy.
And when the day isn’t quite over? It’s just a short trip to the Red Parka Pub, where locals and visitors mix on the dance floor and the music carries the night along. Pair that with a cold Moat Mountain Bone Shaker brown ale, and it’s the perfect après-ski tradition. It’s a neighborhood that invites you to enjoy every moment, from fresh tracks in the morning to dancing and good beer after dark.
