I spent more time on the porch sitting in the rocking chair and just really enjoying the elements. Rooms were just as pictured. Hot tub was great. Location was great. Proximity to everything was great.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We’re so glad you were able to relax and enjoy the porch—that’s truly one of the best parts of the cabin. It’s great to hear everything met your expectations and that you enjoyed the hot tub and convenient location. We’d love to host you again soon!
The Wild Life cabin was very clean, had ample amenities, and was exactly as advertised and everyone I spoke with at Summit Cabin Rentals was awesome as well from start to finish. The only issue I encountered was that the upstairs shower head was mostly clogged up, but Summit fixed the issue the same day I called about it.

Only issue is the smell of the water. That happens with with well water.

Thank you for your feedback! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciate you mentioning the water smell. In some mountain areas, well water can have a natural sulfur scent at times. We’ll continue to monitor it to ensure the best experience possible for our guests. We hope to host you again soon!
We had a fantastic stay. There is no cell service if you have AT&T. But the cabin has Wi-Fi and the signal was strong enough for 6 phones with no issues. The water has an awful smell that I assume is due to it being well water, but you may want to bring a jug of water for coffee. I used bottled water to rinse my teeth after brushing. I’m sure the water would’ve been fine to use for those things, just more of a personal preference. We had a red headed woodpecker on the front porch one morning & saw a black bear on the way to the pool. All in all it was a great cabin and perfect for our family. We really enjoyed The Wild Life.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! We're delighted to hear that you and your family had a fantastic stay at The Wild Life. We appreciate you sharing helpful details about the cell service and Wi-Fi, as that information can be very useful for future guests. It's also great to hear the Wi-Fi worked well for everyone in your group. Mountain cabins often use well water, which can sometimes have a sulfur smell, but we appreciate you sharing your experience. It sounds like you had some memorable Smoky Mountain wildlife encounters too! Seeing a woodpecker on the porch and a black bear during your stay is definitely part of the mountain experience. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us. We're so happy the cabin was a great fit for your family, and we'd love to welcome you back for another stay in the future!
No complaints except for the stinky tap water which I’m assuming was well water. Enjoyed our stay.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback! We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay. We do apologize for the odor you experienced with the tap water. Most of the cabins in the area are on private well water, which can occasionally have a natural sulfur smell. While the water is safe to use, we understand the odor can be unpleasant. Thank you for choosing Summit Cabin Rentals. We truly appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another memorable Smoky Mountain getaway!
Cabin was super clean and well stocked. It was definitely secluded and off the main roads which we wanted. The only thing we didn’t enjoy were the 2 beds upstairs. They were very hard and squeaky. Our family downstairs said the king bed was great. We even saw a bear walking down the road when packing up the car. Will stay again, but maybe need to update the beds.

We appreciate you sharing your feedback about the upstairs beds. We're sorry they weren't as comfortable as expected. Thank you for choosing Summit Cabin Rentals. We truly appreciate your kind words and look forward to welcoming you back for another memorable Smoky Mountain getaway!
