Trullo Nella Pineta Welcomes You To Luxury Among The Pines

Trullo nella Pineta (trullo in the pines) is tucked into the countryside of the Valle d'Itria of Puglia, the 'heel' of Italy's boot. The characteristic 'trullo' building, of which Trullo nella Pineta has two, is found only in this region and speaks of centuries gone by. Much of the history of the property was preserved in the 2013 & 2016 renovation/reconstruction and its nature remains in tact.

The property includes three bedroom suites, each with its own bathroom and separate entrance. The main house, called Il Trullo, contains a large (newly built 2016) kitchen, a dining area a lounge, and a living room with two single day beds.
It also has a trullo bedroom that sleeps two (two single beds that can be combined into a double) and a full bathroom with shower.

La Torretta is named for the style of roof on this part of the building and the ceiling of the structure has been reclaimed to expose the beautiful local stone. This area includes a bedroom with one double bed and a bathroom with shower.

On the other side of Il Trullo from La Torreta is the third suite called La Cantina since this had formerly been the place where the olive oil and wine were stored. It is now a quaint bedroom with a double bed and an en suite bathroom. La Cantina features an outdoor shower and its own outside seating area.

The new large kitchen was built February 2016 (a new extension, in the same style as the rest of the house), and all appliances (refrigerator, oven and stove, dishwasher, washing machine) were replaced.

Trullo nella Pineta provides a variety of outdoor options so that its guests can take full advantage of the hospitable Pugliese weather. It starts with the 4x8 meter in-ground salt water swimming pool complete with loungers and views of the olive and fig trees.

The Pergola with its cozy sofas, adjacent to La Torreta, provides shade during the heat of the day and an outdoor break from rain, should the rain come. The Gazebo, located next to the pool, has wonderful views of the pool and the olive and fig trees and is the perfect day or evening outdoor dining venue, complete with a built-in bar-b-que for convenience. The Piazzeta offers some shade in the afternoons and seating for those who may simply want to relax and read. Finally, whether the motivation is solitude, meditation or romance, the pine grove is an ideal escape from the heat and sun of the Pugliese summer and the cool breeze from the north that blows there provides a refreshing respite.
