About this property
Oasis Getaway - Comfort and relaxation away from it all yet close to everything!
Nestled in Mooresville, this delightful house boasts 4 bedrooms - 2 king beds and 2 queen beds. You'll enjoy 3 bathrooms equipped with all you need to shower, blow dry, and freshen up. Brilliant and phenomenal interior design creates a cozy atmosphere perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. Fall in love with Mooresville and all it has to offer.
With a fully equipped kitchen and a massive kitchen island, you can enjoy the perfect evening filled with friends and family. We have plenty of board games to keep you entertained, large TVs in every room, 2 desks for comfortable work-from-home accommodations, a doggy den for your fur babies, and a claw foot tub in the main bathroom. Outside you will find a large Connect 4 board, fire pit, lake access and kayaks [we typically only have water during the summer], nature galore, a back deck perfect for sipping evening cocktails or morning coffee, a covered picnic table and a cozy clean hot tub that comfortably seats 4.
We love the way it feels like you're at a private escape, yet you can get to anything you want within minutes! When we lived here, we woke up every morning and enjoyed a cup of coffee in the hot tub while watching the abundance of wildlife in the back yard. You will see blue herons, squirrels, birds, ducks, deer...even eagles, beavers or turtles if you're lucky!
As coffee lovers, we make sure you have what you need for a great morning start: Coffee Grinds, Drip Coffee, French Press, Nespresso Pod Machine, creamers and assorted Teas. There are coffee stations in the upstairs kitchen, as well as the kitchenette in the walk-out basement.
Other things that are helpful to know about our cozy home:
Great Internet - for streaming or working from home
Fully Equipped Kitchen [+ an abundance of spices!]
Cabinet full of board games
Hot Tub cleaned Weekly on Thursday mornings
Back Deck with bar-height table, and 2 rocking chairs
Private Back Yard
Cocktail Cabinet with glasses and bar ware [alcohol not provided]
Beverage Cooler in downstairs kitchenette
Fishing Poles by Back Door
**HELPFUL NOTES**
There is no way to access our home without stairs. The home is at the bottom of a large hill, and it is technically a "ranch with a walk out basement". You must walk up stairs to enter the front door, and 3 bedrooms are downstairs in the walk out basement. We do not recommend this home if you have elderly guests or anyone with mobility issues. There is no wheelchair access.
Our home is on county land, which allows for duck hunting in the winter. Between October - January, you may hear a few gunshots in the morning. This typically does not go on all day - if the hunters are out, they typically shoot a couple rounds and you don't hear them again.
They are not allowed to shoot near or towards the house, and we do not allow hunting on our property.
Duke Energy uses Lake Norman for power generation. They control the lake levels and therefore we cannot guarantee there will or will not be water behind the house. It is very likely you will be able to kayak or fish during the summer, but most of the time, the water levels are lowered in Fall/Winter so you may not see water if you visit during that time. Whether there is water or not, you will still enjoy a beautiful back yard surrounded by nature! Our home is called Blue Heron Cove because we can almost guarantee that you will see at least one blue heron during your stay.
The garage is not open to guests.
We have a parking pad at the street and we ask that our guests utilize the gravel parking pad vs. parking in the driveway.

About the host
Hosted by Pam Abirached
We are local North Carolinians with a love of travel and a passion for creating beautiful spaces. We have two homes - in Mooresville and Huntersville - that we love sharing with others visiting the area. We hope you enjoy your time in our home!
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with the privacy of the back yard, and constant wildlife. We feel like we are on staycation, yet can get to anywhere we want very quickly!
What makes this property unique
The rooms are cute, and the beds are comfy - those are necessities. But what we love about our home is the ability to easily create lasting memories, spend quality time with loved ones, and effortlessly enjoy nature. The hot tub is a beautiful way to start your morning or relax after a long day. Staying at Blue Heron Cove isn't just a comfortable place to rest, it's a home you can enjoy, experience, and build lasting memories.
