When we arrived at La Beliza, we were not greeted by the host, the staff grabbed our bags and said they assume we were in an open room. At this point, the company has moved my reservation to a different unit twice. Our room did not have functioning AC, the sheets were dirty, and TV’s didn’t work. They agreed to move us to another unit by the time we came back from a day trip. We were told the manager would come to talk to us and that never happened. When we returned to our original room to grab our things, the stove was disconnected and left in the middle of the kitchen. The fridge was replaced with a new one and all of our food was gone. They eventually brought our food to us in the new unit. The plumbing fixtures are old and rotted. Water in the tub was left standing because the stopper was fused shut from rust and lime. Paint from the ceiling in the master bedroom was peeling. The headboards had visible dust and cobwebs around the furniture. The owners clearly do not take care of the necessities to make the stay worthwhile. It felt like nobody had stayed there for a couple of years. The staff were helpful but we never saw the lobby or a manager. We appreciate a remote location and the quiet, but these accommodations were truly not as we expected for such a nicely advertised condo.
