We have stayed here twice now for 2 week stays..the owners are amazing and take great care of there rooms.. The travel to dandenong each day for work was good..shops are about 5 mins away with a great choice of food.. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Excellent independent unit, perfect host and quiet location

I stayed for two months and found the place very comfortable. Woolies, MacDonald and lots of eateries and shops within three minutes walk. I stayed in a garden unit that has its privacy and opens to a beautifully-landscaped backyard. The hosts are a really wonderful and hospitable senior couple usually at home which is good in case you need anything. But there is really nothing more that you need since everything is provided. The kitchenette (with laundry machines) is located in the backroom of the main-house. If you, like myself, have heavy luggage rely on public transport, the best is to take a bus/tram/train to Box Hill station and then take bus 765 towards Micham. Get down after passing MacDonalds and Woolies (on Main Street) and the house is a 3 min walk. Blackburn Station is 1.2 km from there. You'll love this lovely place. I will be back again on my next visit to Melbourne.
