Private, very quiet and beautiful apartment in the heart of the city and the Historic neighborhood of Monserrat.

This magnificent building, is just in front of the Congress Palace, close to Café Tortoni, Plaza de Mayo, the Museo Histórico Nacional del Cabildo, Cafe de los Angelitos, and trendy restaurants like Chan Chan.

The space:
This beautiful apartment, is located in Avenida Rivadavia, just one block away from Callao.
Next to the magnificent Congress Palace, and it's square.

The area is centric, walking distance to the Theater district, Barrio Norte, Recoleta, San Telmo, and Avenida de Mayo.

Full of restaurants, bars, and main subways.

The building is a landmark of Buenos Aires, designed by world famous Mario Palanti.
The apartment has a large living room, two bedrooms, full kitchen, a graceful private balcony, and amazing day light!

Great lighting and quiet.

Balvanera is located to the west of downtown Buenos Aires (el centro, which comprises San Nicolás and Montserrat). The elegant northern neighbourhood of Recoleta (part of the area known as Barrio Norte) is located north of Balvanera, crossing Córdoba avenue.

Live like a local

The apartment was such a wonderful place to call home. The beautiful architecture made us feel like we were back living in the grand time of Argentina! The location was spot on. Being right in the city center with having the Congress building across the street from you and a beautiful park not even a block away. There’s a wonderful little cafe just across the street called Casa Blanca which was very charming. Everything was right there for you. Nicholas was great. He made us feel right at home. We will be staying there again for sure. If you want to live like the locals and enjoy everything right there for you, this is the place to stay. I will say, you do have to walk some stairs to get to the very charming elevator but it is so worth it! I hope you enjoy this apartment as much as we did if you choose it!

Property in unkept condition.

Property not maintained. I paid an extra day for only 5 hours as we arrived in the morning. Got to the apartment and owner was their trying to fix toilet. Came back several hours later to finish. Toilet old, rocked when you sat on it and toilet seat was nasty and moved all over. All plumbing, sink and bath nasty. Tv did not work took 4 days for someone to get it to work and only worked one night and then no signal again for the 3 weeks I was there. Air conditioner leaked the filters were so dirty it did not work properly..3 days to fix. Owner never responded only his sister. You have to go up 2 flights of stairs before you get an elevator, so not good for old people. And very very noisy...very busy streets and protest at the Congress building every weekend at 6am. Not quite as represented. For representing he is a designer this apartment is in need of total renovation.

I’m not surprised by your hateful review. You showed to be an angry person. The toilet had a small issue caused by previews tenant who left just before your arrival and it was fixed in a matter of minutes. The TV was working fine, you didn’t understand how “smart Tv” works I guess is saying something about you. Air conditioning licked since your friends left it on 24hs/7 days. It was fixed right the way. And the lack of my presence… I felt how 3 of you were looking at me, which made me very uncomfortable, so I rather sent my sister. I’m wondering if you thought I was included in your rental? Very disappointed to someone how was always “we are good” “everything is fine” What’s the point of this review? Hate?

Zentrale historische Lage mit Apartment welches in die Jahre gekommen ist!

Check in mit Nina hat wunderbar funktioniert. Wir haben wertvolle Tips erhalten für den Trip durch Buenos Aires. Die Unterkunft ist leider in die Jahre gekommen. Die Ausstattung bis hin zu Möbel hatte sehr viele Mängel. Vor allem ist die Dusche ein wahres Erlebnis,da kaum Wasser aus der Dusche kommt! Zusammenfassen lässt sich sagen,dass eine Renovierung der Wohnung notwendig ist!

Hi Andrea This is an apartment in a landmark historical building, is obviously for people who can appreciate it. I find it difficult for someone coming from a society obsessed with perfection in not a health way. The shower works perfectly, is brand new. To bad you didn’t manage to make it work to your needs. May be choose the right country for your high levels of expectations next time?

If you want to live Like a local this is the place!!!

If you want to feel what it’s like to live in BS AS as a local this place is perrrct for that, the location is amazing just behind their congress it’s situated on a Main Street, you can get around from their via taxi, subway or why not walk. The apartment is fantastic in an old building, it’s the top floor with high ceilings, it’s very open with two bed rooms on opositor sides of the apartment, there is an elevator just keep in mind that you will climb some stairs to get to it. We loved the charm it has and how everything about it made us feel like locals. Speaking of locals, Nina is fantastic and was there waiting for us even though we arrived a little early, she was there if we had any issues or needed some recommendations. We were sad to go but hope to be back soon and stay here again! Gracias Nina!
