The location on the Continental Golf Course was fantastic. We overlooked holes 16-18 -- some of the nicest holes on the course. The patio faces west making it not usable in the afternoon/evening due to direct sun. The rectangular umbrella shown in the pictures is broken and it is not secured in a base. Any wind caused the umbrella to rotate like a top. It was useless. I notified the host about the issue. More umbrellas secured in bases could improve the usability of the patio for afternoon/evening outdoor dining. That said, the grill area was amazing, had plenty of gas plus an extra cylinder, and it was clean. Inside, the house had a multilevel layout indicative of an 80s build. Not my favorite but the interior remodel, flooring, bathrooms and kitchen were all new and clean. A couple of items I'd recommend to the host to add: butter knives, teaspoons, and a kitchen washcloth to wipe down counters. There were none. The knee level microwave was in a difficult position to use. There was no "real" kitchen lighting other than the stove hood lighting and an odd antler chandelier over the large kitchen island. This made preparing meals in the evening interesting. The lack of lighting or at least having can lights installed over the kitchen area would help. On the bright side, the countertop air fryer was the bomb and we used it constantly. It was super helpful with making meals. All in all a great property with a few changes needed.
