Please note: Lake Buchanan is NOT a constant level lake and the water level will fluctuate with rain or drought.

The nearest boat ramp is at Burnet County Park, about 6.4 miles (11 minutes) from the house. It is free to access. The dock is most suitable for shallow-bottom fishing boats.

Spotlessly clean. We found the kitchen to be well supplied and spacious. Extremely comfortable beds. Everyone slept well. Plenty of hot water. Quiet area but easily accessible. Communications were prompt and clear. If we return to the area we’ll look for this property to be available.

Great place. Pictures do not give justice. We were able to be there when the lake was full, my dog even went for a swim. Now for the best part house is 95% wheelchair accessible, which is what we needed the most. Other than 2steps to get in and out both in the front and porch the first floor was able to accommodate a wheelchair and walker. Will recommend and return if needed.
