★ A NOTE ON YOUR WOODLAND ESCAPE ★
We are thrilled to share our slice of nature with you! Because this home is nestled in the heart of the woods, please keep in mind that you are visiting a thriving ecosystem. While the peace and privacy are unmatched, "vacationing in the woods" comes with a few natural quirks:
- Wildlife: It is common to see deer, turkeys, and squirrels. Occasionally, larger neighbors like raccoons may pass through. Please keep all food indoors and dispose of trash in the secured bins provided to avoid uninvited dinner guests.
- The "Bug" Factor: We maintain a professional pest control schedule; however, the occasional spider, beetle, ladybug, or wasp may find their way inside—especially during rain or seasonal shifts. These "woodland friends" are simply part of the forest experience.
- Spring Pollen Disclaimer: If you are visiting during the spring, please be aware that the forest is in full bloom! A fine dusting of yellow pollen on outdoor furniture and decks is common during this time. Guests with sensitivities may want to come prepared.
- Keeping doors and screens closed will help keep the great outdoors exactly where it belongs—outdoors!

We encourage you to have a great time, but respect the cabin and neighboring cabins. Sounds travel very far in the remote areas of the forest.

The place was very nice, loved the layout and having 2 bathrooms. Its perfect for a couple or small family. The hot tub was wonderful and the fireplace on the back porch was perfect for thw crisp morning drinking coffe outside. Not far at all to places to eat or to find something to do. A few minute drive to The Maze, Girls Gone Wine( you could have walked to), ect. Check out the cheesecake food truck while there, it was so good.
