Come explore Strawberry, Arizona nestled amongst ponderosa pine trees at 5800’ elevation. Summer temperatures rarely top 85 degrees and winter months turn into a winter wonderland. Spend your mornings sipping coffee on the porch watching the elk wander through the property and listening to the birds sing. Nestle up to the fireplace listening to records and playing games with your family. Four bedrooms and two full bathrooms will fit all of your friends and family. Early check in, if available. This 4 bedroom 2 bathroom ranch has been thoughtfully decorated and maintained. New king size Simmons Beautyrest plush pillow top mattresses, new leather couches, down feather comforters and rocking chairs on the porch will hit your reset button. The kitchen is fully stocked for home cooking. We also provide both a coffee pot or a pour over for your preference. Yes, the record player works! You can pop on a record, hit start, and jam out. Or connect your phone to the Sonos to make your own play list. We have dozens of 1960’s and 1970’s Arizona Highways magazines, such fun to read about life in the valley and high desert before most of us arrived! Most importantly enjoy yourself! We started this journey because of all of our amazing experiences staying at other hosts homes. While we’re still learning and appreciate feedback, we’ve tried to be very intentional about including the things we love in this cabin. We hope it makes your stay just as wonderful. Put on a record, brew a cup of coffee, rock on the porch and grab a good book or vintage Arizona Highways magazine. This is your time to unwind. We’ve intentionally put the only TV in the bunk room if you need to catch a game or watch a movie, but not to have add as a distraction from relaxation.

The cabin is huge, well equipped and located plus cousy. We enjoyed it to the fullest. The recommendations of sites to visit was perfect. Tonto Natural Bridge is amazing. Also, just about a quarter of a mile we walked by a "herd" of 15 elks. It was impactful. Our grandchildren were shocked. The only detraction was our stay of 3 days. Thank you very much to the Seimers.

About the host
Hosted by Todd Seimer
Hi, we're the Seimers! As a family of 5 with two dogs we find short term rentals to be the best fit for our family when we travel. We love the amenities of a home that are included, the privacy and most importantly the space! We took all of the things we have loved about the homes we have stayed in and incorporated it into our cabin. We love hearing stories from our guests about how great their stay was, how comfortable the beds were and most importantly about the time they were able to spend together!
Why they chose this property
Strawberry is the perfect escape from the valley. Only 2 hours door to door from the east valley, temperatures are perfect during the summer, winters experience snow, and the ponderosa pines in Strawberry transport you to another world! The wildlife, how could I forget, the elk, the deer, the javalinas, oh my! There is a game trail through our property so sit on the porch and soak up the wildlife.
What makes this property unique
The home sits back off the roach nestled in the pines, with enough privacy yet conveniently close to Strawberry and Pine.
