About this property
Beachfront Year-round Property - Newly Renovated
This Cosey Beach rental property is located right on the water, and situated on a private sandy beach. PLEASE NOTE: many listings are deceptive, since they show water views and you later find out that the property is located across the street with "beach access". This property is THE REAL DEAL. You and your kids can go swimming directly in my back yard :-) The 4th of July city fireworks (usually the Saturday before July 4th for East Haven) are launched about 100 ft east out over the water. I included one picture from this year!
Surrounded by million dollar houses, and with a salt water estuary preventing any construction across the street, this rental truly enjoys a premier location!
The three separate bedrooms can accommodate up to 3 couples or a family of 6 with equal numbers of boys/girls. Both bathrooms have a shower to speed up your morning routine. The water heater is new and functions efficiently. There is central (natural gas) heat, to quickly alleviate any chilly nighttime temperature drops. We now have AC!
Fish (recommend high-tide) directly off the backyard beach or adjacent rock jetty for striped bass, bluefish, blackfish, or flounder. Catch blue crabs (my favorite) in the salt water estuary across the street!
Any attraction in New Haven less than 15 minutes away: Wooster St (Pepe's Pizza), Yale/Peabody Museum, Train Station, Nightclub scene (Club Vandome, Café NIne, Toad's Place).

Great Spot
We had a great time! The house is close to neighbors but the water access still felt private. Neighbors were friendly when we encountered them. The accommodations are everything you’ll need for an extended stay (appliances, dishes, etc.), super close to the public beach (8min walk) and has a couple really good restaurants in walking distance. Groceries, additional shopping, and restaurants are 10min drive away. Perfect location for a waterfront stay.

40th. HS reunion
This the perfect location to relax on the ocean, location is amazing! 2 delicious restaurants in walking distance. Great vineyard, Rose’s, is just a “Lyft” away. Beds are comfortable, and kitchen is well equipped. The host was easy to communicate with, and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

Tranquil, with the wonderful sound of waves day and night
Visiting Yale for parents' weekend, brought our Yalies siblings, so wanted a larger place. Liked the space, comfort, and tranquility, while still being close to Yale, Wooster Square, etc.
Beds were a bit creaky, and front door was a bit stuck (just needed some muscle) but was still a wonderful stay.
