The Perfect Breakaway with Sea View

This holiday apartment is on the ground floor, has large terrace with sea view and is only 60m from the beach and less than 3 minutes walk to the charming harbour of Sutivan with its quayside cafés and restaurants. The holiday apartment has air-conditioning, is beautifully furnished and equipped to a high standard including fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher. Surrounded by trees and traditional Croatian stone houses the apartment is in a delightful setting with its own private large terrace with table and chairs and BBQ (Grill). Bed linen and towels are provided. There are two good sized bedrooms. Room 1 (1 queen bed) and Room 2 (2 twin beds). The lounge/dining room and kitchen area is open plan with double doors leading onto the terrace with sea view. Sutivan gets lively in the evenings, especially in July and August - local music in the town square and many festivals to enjoy, i.e. the Fisherman's festival with free fish and wine. The local people certainly know how to enjoy themselves and encourage you to join in.

Sutivan (Stivan) is a village and harbour in the far west of the northern coast of the island of Brac, 7km west of Supetar ferry port that is connected to Split by daily ferry lines. Main industries are farming, wine production, olive growing, fishing and tourism. A local road that leads to Supetar connects it with all settlements on the island. Smaller yachts can berth in the port; large vessels anchor in front of the port. BOL is one of the favourite tourist attractions on the island of Brac.

Perfect apartment in a perfect location!

We loved the apartment, as my Mum has mobility issues the ground floor was perfect for us. Everything you could need in the kitchen, and a lovely balcony to sit out on, you can see the sea, and it's only a 3 minute walk down to the beach. Sutivan itself is lovely and peaceful, within a 6-7 minute walk there are a handful of very nice restaurants to choose from, with fab views. There are supermarkets and a post office too. We didn't have much luck with the buses, several of them not showing up which was a shame. We did boat trips to Omis and Solta which were both excellent, we booked with a travel agent down on the front. Unfortunately there weren't enough people for a trip to Bol, she did say it was coming to the end of the season, this surprised as it was the last week of August. When we go again I think we would go earlier like July time. The owner was very helpful, and helped with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again, Thankyou.

En trevlig lägenhet med stor och rymlig balkong. Nära till stranden, affär och restauranger. Sutivan är en liten och mysig ort med fina omgivningar. Ett litet minus är att det var en parkering nedanför balkongen. Det var ej störande.

Sehr schöne Ferien

Das Appartement ist mit allem Luxus den man benötigt ausgestattet. Besonders die Kücheneinrichtung läßt keine Wünsche offen. Der Ausblich von der Terrasse ist sehr schön. Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in Sutivan. Im Ort kann man sehr gut Essen gehen.

Little Gem

I have a secret i do not know if i want to share it as once it gets out everyone will know what an amazing place Sutivan and the Island of Brac are. Our stay in Bunta apartment was lovely clean fresh well equipped and in a good location if it is the bright lights you are looking for this is not the place for you , but if you want to soak up the real Sutivan this is an excellent base. Bus timetables are some what limited after the first week in September but we managed to get out and about quite well, we even walked into Supetar along a seaside track along the way we took in the breathtaking sights of the olives groves and beautiful scenery. It was lovely just buying local produce daily and snacking with a glass of very cheap local wine , weather was wonderful, sea a little cold for my liking but i am not one for the sea always some where nice to stop have a drink or a snack and wach the world go by at a slow pace perfect .

Great location , food and beaches.

This apartment is exactly as described. Clean, comfortable, has all the necessary facilities for a home-from-home experience and most importantly the beach (family-friendly) is a 40sec walk away. The supermarket and town centre are nearby too - a very pleasant 5min walk away. Neda, who looks after the apartment is very helpful and on hand for anything you need. The town itself, Sutivan, is very pretty and lively without being too commercial. It is also well located to explore the other towns and rest of the island by: i) Bus - reliable, regular and cheap service from the town centre ii) Cycling - the closest big town, Supertar, is a pleasant 6km cycle/walk away iii) Boat - we hired a 6 seater boat with a canopy and 5hp engine from the port and pottered along the coast to Milna (where we had lunch) and across to Solta (a neighbouring island) stopping to swim/snorkel wherever we pleased. A great day out! We found Croatia to be the perfect holiday. Beautiful beaches, great food (especially the seafood) and the locals are very helpful, friendly and speak excellent English. We will definately be back!

Bunta apartment Sutivan

First time in Croatia and we will certainly be returning.The apt.was very clean and modern and very close to beach and harbour.Shirley,the owner was easily contactable by email and responded very quickly to all my pre trip queries,and was very helpful.Neda met us at the apt and sorted out all the tourist tax paperwork,a lovely lady.Sutivan is idyllic as is the rest of Brac.You don't need a car as the buses are very punctual.Lovely friendly people and eating out is good vaue for money (let's hope they don't join the euro).I don't want to say much more incase everyone discovers this unspoilt little spot.

Peaceful apartment and surroundings

The apartment was just as we expected, nice and clean. The Village of Sutivan is charming. there are everything you need, a good bacery, supermarkets, restaurants and pizzeria. All within a short walk. The beach is close to the apartment and is also nice and clean with a little bar. We drove a couple of km further north on Brac and found a beautiful place with pine threes down to the sea and rocks to sit on. The sea was crystal clear and the children loved to swim and snorkle there. We also visited Vidova Gora; the highest point with a breathtaking view over the area incl. Zlatni Rat, the famous beach Zlatni Rat, Milna; a cosy fishing village, Supertar; sligtly larger place with a pool with water slides close to a bar where the parents can relax and watch, Skrip; small place with interesting museum. There are at least two good restaurants which also serves fresh fish in Sutivan. In the evening there was also some activities for the children outside. We think Sutivan is one of the nicest small villages we have been too and will recommend it to everyone who doesn't need disco music to relax.
