Host was generally responsive. There could be better cleanliness and care taken to the space. The bed was haphazardly made and extra bedding was thrown in a pile in the closet. All the drawers and cabinets had random items strewn about. The shower had pink slime on edges and black mold. There is no internal handle to the door so it is difficult to open when exiting the room. The shower is very temperamental so there need to be clear instructions on how to get the water to the right temperature. The listing says that the area is “lively” but it is extremely loud, not just “lively”. The room is not well insulated so you can hear all the noise from multiple bars below until 2 am in the morning. It is difficult to sleep. The host provided ear plugs and eye masks but it does not help.
