Failure to notify renter that there was going to be painting done at the unit which prohibited the use of the elevator and the use of the deck and therefore NO view!! Moldy food found in the cupboard and food on 2 of the saucepans. Water ran down on the bottom shelf of the frig and froze; it was hard to regulate and desperately needs cleaned underneath. 2 bulbs were burned out in bathroom. Furnace was so loud that it was hard to hear the television.

We’re sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet expectations. Regarding the painting project, we understand how frustrating it must have been to have limited elevator and deck access. The work was part of a necessary maintenance effort to maintain the building’s condition, and we regret if communication about the timing did not reach you clearly. Cleanliness is extremely important to us, so we are concerned to hear about the moldy food in the cupboard, residue on the saucepans, and the refrigerator issue. Our cleaning team follows a detailed turnover checklist, and we will be reviewing this stay with them immediately to ensure standards are consistently met. The refrigerator and furnace will also be inspected to address the temperature regulation and noise concerns you described. We apologize as well for the burned-out bathroom bulbs — this is certainly something that should have been caught prior to arrival. Your feedback helps us improve, and we take it seriously.
