River Falls Bungalow is the perfect destination for couples and families of 4 or less. Only 7 minutes to the Cosby Entrance of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park! The Bungalow is real log cabin nestled in a private, secluded setting in Cosby, Tennessee alongside Cosby Creek, a blue ribbon trout stream. The stream is over 60 feet wide.

Guests will enjoy the beautiful, tranquil grounds surrounding the cabin as well. River Falls is appointed with quality furnishings, flat-screen TV with cable television, wireless internet, and a gas stove for chilly nights. A 4-person spa on the back deck overlooking Cosby Creek.

Upstairs, River Falls Bungalow has a queen size bed and jacuzzi tub.

River Falls Bungalow is about 12 minutes south of Newport, and is a 25-minute drive to downtown Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Sevierville. The Cosby entrance to the national park is only a 5 to 7 minute drive.

Multiple families/family members can also reserve the larger River Falls Cabin, a 2-bedroom log cabin about 150 feet from the Bungalow.

We love how secluded and peaceful the cozy cabin is. The river, trees blooming, birds, and all the sounds of nature is what we needed. It’s just far enough from the tourist towns.

Super comfy cabin!

I stayed for about 3 days and overall a wonderful experience! Very Clean and very comfy living. The air conditioner kept it really nice, just have to get use to the air conditioner noises. Enjoyed the creek and the view!

Pretty great

Honestly the cabin was great. It was clean and well kept and maintained. Only downside is creek is not really accessible from the property because of the steep incline so don’t rely on that too much, but we were fine with it. It was great for the two of us and our dog.

Sweet Cabin on the crick

I made this booking primarily because of the creek in the back. We were spending some timein Gatlinburg on our honeymoon and I wanted to sleep somewhere that had a chance of meeting a Tennessee native brookie. The creek was real nice and full of fish activity when we arrived, I made a few casts but we needed to settle in and eat as it was nearly dark outside and we had traveled a long way to get there. It poured that night and the creek became very high and fast very quickly. We enjoyed our time at the cabin (love the hot tub with the creek view for waking up in the morning) but the conditions were poor enough that I didn’t get to do the fishing that I had hoped. This is a great place to stay if you are visiting the nearby attractions and are looking to stay outside of the hustle.

Would have been ok but they are trying to charge us for an old wore out vinyl couch that was in bad shape when we arrived. The a/c was noisy and e jacuzzi and about 8 cabins nearby. There is a horse farm behind the cabin which were beautiful but smelled like dung the whole time there. Lots of litter around and bed linens dirty

Will Recommend to everyone!

I loved my stay at the bungalow, its a cute and peaceful cabin on the river. I loved having my coffee on the porch in the morning and sitting in the hot tub at night. It had all the amenities we needed. My only complaints were that it was very dusty (I have bad allergies) and the main bed was very stiff and the pull out was very loud and uncomfortable. :)

A little surprised that there was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. And you have borer bees on the deck by the jacuzzi. And nats in the kitchen window sill. Otherwise nice property.

Relaxation

This cabin is GORGEOUS & the perfect spot for anyone looking for some relaxing time outdoors. From the creek out back, to the lovely tub in the bedroom, to the back porch in the hot tub just listening to the creek flow and the crickets and frogs chirp, this cabin is a WONDERFUL choice! We were worried because previews reviews were showing they were unable to access the creek. We had no problem accessing the creek, it is a little steep, but doable for people who get around easily. Our dogs loved the place just as much as we did. We will definitely be back to stay at this beautiful home in the future!

River Relaxation

Great property that is tucked away among the trees and the Cosby River. We had a great time! Our avid fisherman was disappointed that there were no fish to catch but he throughly enjoyed trying and splashing around in the river (when the level was low enough and the current slower). We were able to cook all of our meals there too with no issues which was of high importance as we have several family members with dietary restrictions. Overall wonderful, relaxing and a great eacape from the hustle and bustle!!! Just minutes from the foothills too!

Hidden gem, will definitely be back

Loved the location of this cabin, Vrbo pictures doesn’t show it but cabin’s porch is literally on the edge of the creek, so when you are sitting there it feels like you are in the middle of it. Serene place to sit and have a breakfast & coffee. We also did enjoy herd of horses across the creek, made for beautiful scenery. We did bring cheap 32” smart tv (69 at target) for streaming, which we used while enjoying jacuzzi in the evening for Harry Potter marathon (made our daughter extremely happy). Not necessary but we do this to be on the safe side if there is only limited options available or we want to enjoy different movies at same time. Other than that we liked close proximity to park and Pigeon forge. Not really fans of attractions in PF or Gatlinburg but it is within reach if someone’s into it. We did used couple cabins in the area but this one has that wow factor being right by the creek

The only issue we had was with the heat and air unit. It was extremely noisy and made it difficult to sleep. We finally figured out the heat setting but the air didn’t seem as warm as it should have been. Other than that it was a nice stay.

Water front cabin

Lovely cabin and perfect for a couple it was located in a quiet location. Yes there are neighboring cabins, but there was never an issue and it was very private. Water is right out the back door. Only down side is who ever is cleaning the cabin really isn’t cleaning the cabins dust and dirt on the floors and pet hair it’s like they are doing the bare minimum there was dried spots were stuff was spilled and not cleaned up towels smelled of cigarette smoke so I had to go buy extra towels. The hot tub was very low on water and we had to add water to be able to use it, but other than that we did love the location. We were only 30 minutes from Gatlingburg and we enjoyed 2 hikes to see waterfalls only 15 minutes from one and 30 from the other.
