Address is a bit confusing. It worked well for our fishing crew.

Yes 103 and 101 Genesee properties are up the same driveway. 101 is a commercial building that resembles a Mansion however the guest house is a little further up the driveway. I have installed signage to make it easier to find. Yet it can be confusing at first. Fortunately I took Gordon’s phone call immediately and walked him thru check in. When Im a guest I find Electric keypads can also be frustrating and there can be some angst when you have trouble getting in the door the first time. Fortunately I was able to take Gordons call and we got him in the house.
Very comfortable stay, ample space. Beautiful neighborhood. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Kept in touch for whatever we needed throughout our stay. We had a little trouble finding it upon arrival, but the house ended up being behind a business. The address is correct, but it’s shared with a small business in front of it. Overall lovely stay, and great communication with the host. Thank you very much.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
Came into town for wedding. Property is advertised as a queen bed in every room. The middle room, did not, however. It was a full. Also, it did not appear to have been cleaned at all. The carpet in the living room, as well as the stairs were covered in animal hair. The blankets, and sheets in the first bedroom (one with 3 beds) were covered in hair as well. The downstairs bathroom has what appears to be urine stains coating the baseboards, and there were a pair of dirty men's underwear hanging on the fence outside the entryway.Lastly, there were water bottles in the fridge. My daughter grabbed one to drink, only to discover in the middle of the first swig that it was previously opened and had backwash in it.All things considered...price wasnt terrible. But cleanliness was definitely a major issue.

Thank you for your feedback. After reviewing your comments, we must respectfully note that they do not align with the verified condition of the home prior to your arrival.
Your stay followed a guest who traveled from Alaska—a veterinarian—who left a 5-star review and specifically noted the property was spotless. The home was then professionally cleaned and inspected again before your check-in, as part of our standard process for every guest.
Given the severity of the issues described, it is also important to note that we did not receive any communication from you during your stay. Had anything even remotely close to what’s described occurred, we would have addressed it immediately.
Our listing accurately reflects the sleeping arrangements, and all linens are freshly laundered between each guest. The conditions described—particularly regarding cleanliness and personal items—are not consistent with our cleaning records or the consistent experience reported by the vast majority of our guests.
We also want to highlight that this is a full 3-bedroom home offered at a price point often lower than a basic motel in the area. Even at that value, we maintain high standards and consistently deliver 5-star stays.
We take feedback seriously, but we also stand firmly behind the cleanliness, accuracy, and value of our property, as reflected in our track record.
We stayed here for a total of 5 weeks due to home renovations and chose it for the convenient location, but there were several issues.First, the address will bring you to the wrong house. Nothing in the description makes it clear that you actually need to go to the house next door. The stovetop barely worked the whole time we were there. After a couple complaints, he finally had someone look at it and was told he needs to replace the stove. He dropped off a one burner outdoor camping stove, that I obviously was not be able to use since it was 30 degrees outside. He also texted my husband to apologize for the inconvenience, but said “at the same time, right now the rent is half price, it doubles to 150-175 a night right when spring hits .” It doesn’t matter which rate we are paying, you should expect a working stove. He did end up offering us one extra free night after this text. The kitchen was described as fully stocked, but it had only one pot and not enough silverware, so we had to purchase our own cookware. The kitchen sink is not properly attached to the counter, causing the whole thing to move around when using the faucet.Heating is very uneven. The living room and one upstairs bedroom had no working heat vents and were very cold, while other rooms became excessively hot.

We appreciate Nicoles visit. We are having to stove replaced with a new one. The instructions I send a very clear on how to arrive however not everyone reads them clearly I guess. We will do better at replacing the kitchen items that seem to disappear over time. We do keep getting 5 star reviews from 95% of our guests however not everyone can be pleased. Yes it's true we lowered our price to $85 a night for the winter months which is unheard of for a 3 bed 1.5 bath home. This is what a motel 6 costs. Furthermore if the place was so bad why did they keep extending their stay? It was a relief when the guest left because they complained so much. Thank you.
