This property is fun personified! If you are looking for a unique experience steeped in history and funky art, this is your cottage. The host, Liz, could not be more personable, welcoming and gracious. She is a tremendous ambassador for the town of Mt. Dora and makes you feel like family during your stay. 15/10! A definite future stay with more time to spend exploring the fabulous Mt. Dora!

The Wow Cottage definitely WOWED us. The cottage was immaculate inside and out and had many wonderful surprises waiting for us. We have stayed at other properties and by far this was the best experience we’ve had with Vrbo. I would highly recommend this property!! I could not have had a better experience with my stay. I would highly recommend The WOW cottage. Super cute, clean, great location. If forgot to pack something, I’m sure you can find a spare there. The personal touches exceed anything I’ve experienced anywhere else. Can’t wait to return.

Our stay at WOW Cottage started out wonderful before we even arrived in Mount Dora!! Liz and Lee shared so many useful tips for adding extra fun to our weekend there. We were able to add so many worthwhile things to our itinerary. The Cottage itself was beyond our expectations! It was like a hands on museum of so many artifacts and the like. Many brought back memories of yesteryear. To say too much more would ruin the surprise that awaits you, the next renter.

A month in Mt. Dora

We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful, quaint town of Mt. Dora. Walking to the town center was easy from our cottage. Our hosts were more than accommodating. We r visiting again next winter. We will be staying at their Modern Tree House property next year.

Quick Getaway

The WOW cottage was exceptional!! We were in town for the Beach Volleyball national championships in Tavares. The cottage could not have been any better. It was fantastic!! Highly recommend it to anyone!!

We are a fun couple with a sense of humor who are best friends married for 32 years! We think a house can be comfortable and luxurious and still have a sense of humor! Each room has a quirky mix of both elegant and eclectic... from a whimsical floor lamp of colorful carved stacked animals to octopus art in the bathroom! We are very passionate about giving our guests a "Wow!" experience!

One of the few vacation rentals that is actually in the heart of Mount Dora's Historic District only a few blocks from the downtown area yet on a quiet and peaceful street.

An IMAGINARIUM art house filled with many antique musical instruments, from the elegant (piano, concertina, cello, violin, dulcimer and mandolin), to the quirky (kalimba, accordion, washboard, cigar-box guitar and even a small steel drum!)
