About this property

Gatlinburg Cabin + Hot Tub + Arcade + Mtn Views + Sleeps 6 + Near GSMNP

Entire Cabin | 3 Bedrooms | 2.5 Bathrooms | Sleeps 6 | Free Parking | Community Pools Included

Hello Ranger is a privately owned, whole-home cabin in Chalet Village — one of Gatlinburg's most sought-after neighborhoods — offering long-range Smoky Mountain views, a hot tub, an arcade game, and a dedicated kids' space that makes this one of the most genuinely family-ready cabins in the area.

This is not a condo unit or a shared resort room. It's an entire octagonal cabin with a copper metal roof, your own parking, your own entrance, and no neighbors sharing your space.

THE CABIN
Hello Ranger comfortably sleeps 6 guests across three bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms — a layout that works well for families, two couples traveling together, or multi-generational trips.

Bedroom 1 — Primary
King bed, full private bathroom. Quiet and comfortable — designed for adults who need a real night's sleep after a day in the mountains.

Bedroom 2
Queen bed with its own bathroom access. Great for grandparents, a second couple, or older teens who want their own space.

Bedroom 3 — The Kids' Room
Queen bed with a dedicated Junior Ranger theme and play space. Thoughtfully designed for children — not just a spare room with a bed in it.

Bathrooms: Two full bathrooms plus an oversized half bath — a meaningful advantage when 6 people are getting ready to hit the trails at the same time.

HOT TUB & OUTDOOR SPACES
The hot tub is a major draw year-round — especially in fall and winter when the Smokies are at their most dramatic. After a day on the trails or in Gatlinburg, soaking while looking out at the mountain ridgeline is genuinely hard to beat.

The covered porch and outdoor seating areas are built for the views — large windows and deck space frame the long-range panorama from multiple vantage points. Morning coffee with the mountains in front of you is the daily routine here.

The gas fire pit is a natural gathering spot for evening downtime. Star gazing, s'mores, and decompressing from the day.

A gas grill is available for cookouts, and outdoor dining space seats the full group.

THE KITCHEN
The fully equipped kitchen supports real family meal prep — no hunting for a spatula or cooking with one pot. Refrigerator, freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher, plus all the cookware, dishes, utensils, and glasses your group needs.

Coffee bar includes both a drip coffee maker and a Keurig with pods, filters, creamer, sugar, and tea provided. The dining table seats the full group for meals or game nights.

FAMILY & KIDS' FEATURES
Hello Ranger was intentionally designed for families — not retrofitted after the fact:

Arcade game (free play all stay)
Board games and indoor entertainment
Dedicated kids' room with Junior Ranger theme and play area
Hot tub (kids love it as much as adults)
Community pools open Memorial Day through Labor Day — less than 1 mile to the North Clubhouse
Open living area for movies, games, and family hang time
Fireplace for cozy evenings in
WILDLIFE & THE SMOKY MOUNTAIN EXPERIENCE
One of the most talked-about aspects of a stay at Hello Ranger is the wildlife. Guests regularly spot black bears, white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, and other native Smoky Mountain animals from the cabin and surrounding area. For families — especially kids — this is a highlight that no theme park can replicate.

Wildlife is wild: never approach, feed, or interact with animals. Keep food and trash secured. Supervise children outdoors. These guidelines protect both your family and the animals that make the Smokies special.

COMMUNITY AMENITIES (INCLUDED)
Chalet Village residents and guests have access to:

Multiple community swimming pools (open Memorial Day – Labor Day; North Clubhouse under 1 mile)
Tennis courts
Common outdoor spaces
These are included — no extra fee, no membership required for guests.

LOCATION
Chalet Village is consistently ranked among the best neighborhoods in Gatlinburg for vacation rentals — elevated above the valley with mountain views, quiet roads, and easy access to everything.

Great Smoky Mountains National Park: 10–15 minutes
Downtown Gatlinburg: 10 minutes (dining, shopping, Ripley's, SkyBridge)
Dollywood / Pigeon Forge: 20 minutes
Hiking trailheads: Multiple within 10–15 minutes
Trout fishing: Nearby streams accessible from the neighborhood
A car is required; the cabin is not walkable to town, which is part of what makes it feel private and removed.

In-unit washer and dryer
All bed linens and bath towels provided

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE HELLO RANGER
The combination of a dedicated kids' room, hot tub, arcade, community pools, long-range mountain views, and genuine wildlife sightings in a whole-home private cabin is rare. Most Smoky Mountain properties check one or two of these boxes. Hello Ranger checks all of them — and the octagonal design with a copper roof gives it a character that stands out in a crowded market.

This cabin books heavily with families who return the following year. The Smokies don't get old, and neither does waking up to that view.
