Cute, cozy and comfortable!
This cottage was super clean, cozy, quite and comfortable. We hope to rent it again when we are in Farmington. One of the few in which we could have our small dog. She loved it and so did we!

Wonderful to know that our guests are pleased with our rental. We put a lot of muscle and love into this home. Next visit may I suggest taking you small dog on a hike at the Riverwalk nature trail here in Farmington by the Animas River. Visitors can enjoy walking the trails and visiting the Riverside Nature Center and All Veterans memorial year round. They have benches and lights on the trails, very beautiful this time of year with the leaves changing. Will look forward for your next visit.

This house has everything you need!
My husband and I stayed here for over 2 months and we never needed the owners for anything. They live next door and are so friendly! I would highly recommend staying here and if I'm ever back in the area, would stay here again!

Adorable, well kept cottage
Stayed here for 3 months while working an outage at the nearby power plant. The landlord was so nice, quick to respond to anything and everything - even invited me to join her family for dinner. The place was very clean and decorated nicely. Warm water for days with all the amenities included! Neighborhood was quiet, safe and close to everything I needed. Felt like a home away from home. Would stay here again if I ever again need a place in Farmington.

We always treat our guests as if they were family. Farmington is in the land of enchantment filled with magnificent destinations any direction traveling from. Moab, Utah -Telluride,Colorado-Taos, NewMexico- Chaco Ruins-Monument Valley are just a few desirable places just a half a day or less worth of travel to from Farmington.
This is a 90 year old house well preserved and as comfortable as home. I like the original stucco. The house is warm clean modern and has every amenity except dishwasher. The big deal is the patio. We had every meal on the patio. It’s fenced and private. The patio has a nice table, chairs and gas grill. We sat every evening and watched the local “kettle” of turkey vultures come in to roost in the trees next to the property. It’s and interesting experience I’ve not seen. I would stay again.

Every summer we have the turkey vultures come in to sleep at night in the large elm tree behind this home. They are very interesting to watch as their wing span is right under that of an American eagle. They catch the attention of the "locals" that live in this area as they all come in at the same time creating quite a site in the sky. Fun times!
This was a 4 day trip for an obedience dog show with my 2 Border Collies. First and foremost, property manager, Victoria was AWESOME and truly a super host. She responded quickly and with great care to a few problems during our stay. Great location: close to town and a wonderful park close by for the dogs. The main problem for us was the neighbors had 2 dogs who were out most of the time and would not get away from the adjoining fence barking and acting aggressive when we were there; thus we could not use the small side yard to sit. An arrangement was made that the dogs would be kept in from 7-8 p.m. Obviously not a great solution for us since when I choose a place to stay I look for outdoor space to sit enjoy and relax.
It was a good stay. The communication with property manager was good and better than most I’ve stayed in. When they say it’s a quite neighborhood close to downtown they were not kidding. Will stay again soon.
Lavendar Cottage is a wonderful place to come home too. Although an older historic home it is very clean and modern while still maintaining an older charm. We had come from out of state to attend my Father's funeral service so it was nice to go back to a place after a long day with family to a place I found myself calling home. We traveled with our 3 small dogs and they settled in right away. The side yard was fenced so we could let them outside to explore while we sat out on the patio with them. The neighborhood is very quiet. I live on a small farm in Colorado and was very grateful for the quiet nights.
Booked this because I had a two day meeting and needed a place for my pooch to stay while I was away. Great, cozy place. Simple but updated. Host was accessible. Affordable and close to downtown. Will stay again
This house worked out well for me and my kitty. I work remotely and the internet worked well after Victoria had comcast reset the network. She was very responsive to any questions. I appreciated the house binder with lots of info. Neighborhood was pretty quiet and felt safe. Would recommend.
Came to spend the 4th with some friends. Super cute house and so quiet during all the fireworks. Honestly can’t even tell you’re in town. Clean & comfy.
Everything was great and as advertised. The interactions with property manager were timely and helpful. When I accidentally locked myself out the manager was very helpful and took care of me right away. Bedding was comfortable. I particularly appreciated a patio which is shaded from the west to provide a nice place to sit in the evening.
The home had everything we needed. Beautiful area. The hosts were phenomenal. A must stay!

Thank you, hope you can stay again. The historical part of Main Street is being revamped allowing easy travel to all the wonderful places to eat at and shop the local artist creations. This home is just a few blocks from there!
Victoria and Brad were wonderful hosts. We stayed in their charming house for 3-1/2 months while waiting for our house to be finished I. Durango. They were very gracious when we asked their to extend our stay. The house had everything we needed for us to be very comfortable, and the yard a peaceful, place for our two dogs. The neighbors were friendly and welcoming, and the downtown merchants were so friendly. We discovered the San Juan jazz society and theirnwednesday night concerts at the back of 116 main art gallery, the winery and great food, Thai and Chinese restaurants. We loved our stay and will go back to say hello.

Charming cottage in quiet neighborhood
Victoria and Brad are attentive but not obtrusive hosts. Who have local insight into Farmington and the surrounding area.
The cottage is rustic but not rundown and is very welcoming and comfortable. Would be great for a short visit or for an extended work assignment as was mine, 13 weeks. Felt like home!
Do not be fooled the neighborhood is safe and quiet.

We treat our guest the way we would want to be treated. Our goal is to create a welcoming home filled with comfort. It is neat to know we have wines of the San Juan 30 miles East of this home with Navajo Damn within 30 minutes of the winery giving two options for our guests to visit.

Quaint Cottage
We loved our stay at the quaint Adobe home. It was a nice place to come home to after being gone during the day, it just felt like coming home The owners live next door and were there if the need arose but but left us to our privacy otherwise. It has a nice patio so we enjoyed sitting out in the evening with our dogs in the cool breeze of the trees. The house was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. The owner is very knowledgeable about the area and the history and shared some places for us to go see. Again we loved the place and would come back for another stay in a heart beat.

Great place for day trips
Our family really enjoyed our stay the week after Christmas here in Farmington, starting with the treats left for us when we arrived! Check-in was a breeze. Victoria had very good suggestions when we planned our outings - Chaco Canyon, Mesa Verde, Aztec and more were all easy trips from this central location. We loved coming home to this cozy cottage, watching TV and uploading our photos, when it was cold and snowy outside. The kitchen is well-equipped, and it was very comfortable for the three of us. Having a washer and dryer on site was an extra plus. Victoria was also really helpful when we planned the next part of our trip to the Grand Canyon - her thoughtfulness was very touching, as we were dealing with snowy weather on our arrival and when we left. We will stay here again, as there is still more to see and do!

Nice place to stay!
I stayed at the cottage for 10 days with some other students while we were attending labs for college. The house is nice and clean, the neighborhood is quiet and we felt safe. A short walk to downtown and off street parking were nice perks. We enjoyed the patio and the owner really thought of everything. She was kind and so very helpful, but gave us our own space. I highly recommend the cottage for your stay in Farmington!

Felt like home...
I recently had a wonderful month long stay in this gorgeous, charming cottage. It is in a great location that is central to anything you might want to do in the Four Corners area. The neighborhood is quiet and during the day I felt comfortable walking downtown which is minutes away. The owner provided all the amenities and was available whenever I needed, but never encroached on my privacy. The cottage has beautiful hardwood floors and lots of charm. You can tell the owner has put a lot of thought into making sure renters are comfortable and she was willing to work things out to accommodate me when my travel plans changed at the last minute and I needed to stay in the area longer. I enjoyed sitting on the patio and watching so many different types of birds that seemed to love the trees surrounding the property. If you want a comfortable, centrally located home to stay in the Farmington area...this is a great place to stay!
