The Pirate's Cove building has some after effects caused by the previous hurricanes that are not shown in the photos and descriptions which were taken prior to the storms. Per Pirate's Cove management, ongoing building repair and construction are necessary at times. This property is privately owned and managed by iTrip Daytona. iTrip Daytona does NOT manage OR have any control over the Pirate's Cove building (OR) its amenities. However, we are still more than happy to accept bookings if you'd like to stay in our privately owned condo unit!! Please inquire first before booking if a certain amenity is mandatory for your stay OR if you have any concerns of ongoing projects as this information is always evolving by building management. Beach access is available next door at Dunlawton beach ramp. There will be no refunds or credits for the aforementioned issues if applicable. ***



Amazing studio apartment on the 2nd floor of Pirate's Cove with delightful views of the ocean! The oceanfront pool is directly on the beach allowing you to bask in the sun while enjoying the beauty of the beach. Dine alfresco on your private balcony with high top chairs while you enjoy the sounds of the evening tide. The longest of days melt away when such a picture perfect paradise awaits you!



This unit is clean and tastefully decorated. It is equipped with a kitchenette (full refrigerator, 4 burner stove / oven, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cookware, plates, and utensils), full size sleeper sofa, coffee table, and 3 person table top with chairs. It features a Queen size bed, flat screen 40 inch smart T.V. (no cable) and DVD player. (Sleeps 4). Secured WIFI, linens and bath towels included.



On-site coin laundry facility and a fitness room are also provided.



Pirate's Cove has a laid back atmosphere and is located in the heart of Daytona Beach Shores at the intersection of Dunlawton and A1A. The location is within walking distance to a miniature golf course, restaurants, bars, pharmacy and the Sunglow Fishing Pier with Crabby Joes Deck and Grill! Welcome to Pirate’s Cove!

Pirates cove

The outside and pool and patio are closed and under construction from storm damage. Our suite was nice and quiet. Having trouble returning a parking pass we inadvertently left with.

Great oceanfront condo

This was a great little condo i found last minute. Very clean and comfortable. Plenty of room for a single or couple. View was lovely. Very easy condo to get to. Right off main road. Quick mile walk on the beach to the pier. Even a beach chair and umbrella were in the closet to use. Will definitely stay again. Very clean and tidy condo.

Cute studio

The studio was perfect for the 2 of us. We were visiting to look for areas to live. Full kitchen included. The water took a bit to get hot and the elevator is very slow but those are the only things that weren't 5s. Pool is beautiful, loved the ability to drive onto the beach (we didn't). Would definitely stay again.

My stay was great !! Only issue I had was the door not opening on a 2 separate occasions …. Late night arrival to condo and the code was entered , door unlocked , but would not open It took us 10+ minutes to get in the last 2 nights there …. My only complaint , otherwise a perfect stay

Great but ZERO Internet!

I read a few reviews about the property and the bad ones are way off. It is not a top of the line property but it is clean with a great location. Our specific Condo was great! Clean with great views and access to many spots. Our only issue was the internet for the complex is SO slow and shared. If you care about Internet do not stay here. If internet access is not important it is a great value!

Disappointing stay

The room was dirty behind the night stand food or something was spilled behind it. The balcony was always to hot do to the air conditioner constantly blowing out hot discharge air pulled from the room. How ever the view was nice of the beach. On arrival we were stuck in the elevator we took the stairs the rest of the stay. My wife has seizures and the elevator escalated one.

You cannot deny the view - it is direct ocean front. The room is in the pictures looks nice. The room is clean but older. The tile you see directly below the ocean is not ideal. It tile makes the patio very hot and there is a drain between the wall and the patio which is unsightly looks like it has old water in it. They did contact us during our stay that they would be coming into our condo to do repairs. Would not stay here again.

The tile is part of a roof to a wedding party facility on the grounds and the pipeline is a water drain for the unit's A/C, which is the reason the building maintenance needing access to your unit (due to a building upgrade for this item). We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you, but hope you can understand routine maintenance is necessary.

Need to hire new cleaning service! I actually cleaned mold/mildew from balcony window sills. I also cleaned the filters in the A/C unit because the unit smelled when i first arrived. I had to wipe down remotes with sanitary wipes as they were very dirty. Other than that, unit was fine.

The unit was professionally cleaned prior to your arrival so if what you state was true, we are uncertain why you did not follow your check-in procedures which clearly says “Upon arrival, please report any dissatisfaction (ie. maintenance/clean)” and we provide contact information for our maintenance team, yet we never heard from you at all. We appreciate your feedback about the cleaners but please note from the other reviews the unit is very clean and is rated as such. We hope you understand & wish you all the best.

Delightful property!

Everything about my stay was perfect except for one little detail. The key code is 10 digits long. After a couple of days I was able to memorize it but before then I had to make sure to have it written on something to take with me. Not ideal when you want to go for a walk on the beautiful beach and don't want to worry about anything getting wet. Other properties I've stayed at in the area use a 4 digit key code that is programmed to the last 4 of you phone number, a far better system. Besides this small gripe, this property is excellent!!!

Not what expected

Had to go out and buy extension cord because outlet is out. Rules stated 2 parking passes and only one provided. Power washing going on creating disturbances, pulled out the sofa sleeper and filthy floor, In my opinion, the place was not clean. Don’t mind cleaning up after ourselves but the written “rules” are rude in my opinion. Sofa sleeper is very uncomfortable. However, the ocean view and sound were nice!

Thank you for following our procedures and contacting our maintenance department however you did not want us to come and bring an extension cord. As per your request we did so after your stay. You also informed us you only needed one parking pass and we have replaced the 2nd parking pass now as well. We have not heard such feedback regarding the sleeper sofa, but we will pass yours along to the owner. We’re glad you enjoyed the ocean views and sounds! We wish you all the best.

Good location

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. It was a little small but was ok for our family of four. It was nice to be right on the beach. The unit had an ocean view. Having a small refrigerator and kitchen area was also great for breakfast and lunches so we didn’t need to eat out every meal. What I didn’t like was the balcony. It was very small and had gross puddled water presumably from the AC unit. The view is slightly obstructed from the roof below. There was also water that leaked from the ceiling onto your head every time the shower was running. There was also not enough places to hang towels and swimwear. We each had bath towels, a shower towel, and swim suits and there were only a couple of hooks and one small towel bar in the bathroom.

I don’t recommend this property to anyone

My kids and I had a very bad experience at this property. I’m planning to book our vacation for this summer, and this came up, so I decided to review this place. First of all this room is infested. We all got bug bites all over our body and it was very each. The room is incredibly dirty!!! The lights didn’t work, food left behind in the fridge, the internet DOES NOT WORK at all, TV is very old and has the old HBO with old movies and stuff, no cable available. To not forget the smell of urine in the balcony… Yuck!!! And I almost forgot, heads up, after booking, you’ll get a huge list with things that you can’t do, and the charge of everything you lose , which I found it insane. Yeah, not a home away from home at all.

We are quite baffled by this review. We are uncertain why you would not follow your clearly stated check-in & checkout procedures if what you mention in your review was true. Please keep in mind that we have procedures in place that you received twice yet did not follow. They are the same procedures that provide your keyless door access code you need to enter the unit so the information cannot be missed. We have these procedures in place for a reason so we can assist if need be, which was unfortunately ignored. We are also scratching our heads about this “list” you speak of. We send a conformation email letting you know we received your payment, that you will receive check-in instructions when you are paid in full, and we provide login credentials to your iTrip Tenant’s to view Help Articles related to the property. 🤔 Also, as everyone can see, other guests disagree with you & enjoyed this lovely unit!
