Peaceful Yurts Tucked Away in the Remote and Stunning San Juan Mountains, Colorado
This amazing backcountry yurt adventure is situated in the rugged San Juan Mountains of CO! This cozy yurt is just five miles from the quaint, historic town of Creede and a short 15-minute drive lands guests in a rugged wilderness setting with views they won't believe! The yurt was also featured two years in a row in Denver’s popular 5280 magazine. This 27-acre private property is surrounded by National Forest and is the perfect base for mountain biking, hiking, snowshoeing and skiing. Guests should bring all their toys and go glamping in luxury yurts!
Guests will find a queen-size futon with a memory foam topper to ensure a wonderful night's sleep, and two extra cots can be added. Bathroom facilities can be found in the attached, 12-foot yurt, which has a composting toilet (summer and fall only) and a HotMan canister shower. There is an outhouse to be used in the winter months. Guests will need to bring their own sleeping bags, but pillowcases and all other necessities are provided.
Guests seeking peace in a remote area will appreciate this well-stocked yurt accommodation in Colorado, as there are no facilities around.
