Brian is an exceptional host and has a beautiful home! He is so responsive, never more than just a couple of minutes, and is willing to do whatever he can to make things right. The location was exceptional- plenty to do within walking distance or a short drive. I highly recommend staying here!

The property was very clean and had everything we needed except no pots and pans to cook. Also, getting in and closing up took a little effort to figure out, but we did. We knew our code, but we didn't understand which buttons to press and in what order. Otherwise, very clean and had everything we needed.

This information allows me to make necessary adjustments to my check in message. We do have a full set of pots and pans in the drawers to the right of the range and oven.

We loved our stay at this property. It was the perfect size for two people, and it had everything we needed, including laundry detergent and fabric softener for the excellent washer and dryer. The bed linens and towels were soft and the mattresses were very comfortable. The furnishings and decor were modern but cozy, and the kitchen was stocked with what we needed for a short visit. Garden of the Gods is extremely close and a beautiful spot to visit around sunset. There are plenty of restaurants nearby. This property is really just a lovely place to stay!

I have always had a passion for the hotel industry and used to work at the 5 Star, 5 Diamond, Broadmoor Hotel located here in Colorado Springs. Being a host gives me a touch of the hotel industry.

Why they chose this property

The wild 1800's gold rush supply town of Colorado City (now part of Colorado Springs and now called Old Colorado City) has an old neighborhood charm that is unique to the area. I love the old architecture. Most of the houses and buildings were built in the late 1800's and I love that.

What makes this property unique

This house was built in 1898 and we completely remodeled it down to the studs. Aside from the original rock foundation and rough cut lumber framing everything in this house is brand new and modern yet still has the charm of history.
