Mountain modern retreat w/ best views in Colorado!

Experience the truly extraordinary! Built by the son of the founder of Time Magazine - an architectural masterpiece. This spectacular property comprises 50 acres of ridge-line, with unobstructed views of Boulder, Denver and Golden. Property is located just 20 minutes from Boulder, 20 minutes from Golden, and 25 minutes from downtown Denver! Go hiking from the back yard, or entertain on the 400 square foot deck with a large table (w/ gas fire insert) and BBQ. Integrated audio system in all rooms throughout the house so you never miss a beat. If you can't escape work, there's high speed internet, and an office upstairs to hunker down in.

4 bedrooms all on main level plus an upstairs office with a queen sleeper sofa:
- Primary bedroom - King bed w/ ensuite bathroom, large steam shower, TV, gas fireplace
- Studio bedroom (secondary primary) - King bed w/ ensuite bathroom and 36" dome sky/starlight
- Hallway bedroom - Queen bed and shared bath (including tub)
- Hallway bedroom - Queen bed and shared bath
- Upstairs office - Queen sleeper sofa, adjustable height desk, with office chair


The space:
- Set on 50 acres, 1000 feet above the Denver plains, on the same ridge line as the Boulder flatirons. Unobstructed views of Boulder, Denver and Golden. Truly one of a kind property.

A few things to note:
- Highly recommend 4wheel/all wheel drive in winter
- Our permit does not allow fires other than in the gas fireplace and outdoor gas fire table
- Occupancy is limited to 8 guests in the house at any time. We cannot accommodate any events.

This mountain house was great. It offers exceptional views from the top of the front range overlooking the valley and downtown Denver about 30 miles away. This house served as our basecamp to attend a show at Red Rocks and to tour the nearby towns of Golden and Boulder.Communication leading up to and including during our stay was great. We had a minor issue after check-in but the management staff and the homeowner were quick to address our concerns 100%. One tradeoff with staying at this special house is the location, it is on the top of a mountain ridge so a little extra time should be planned for when leaving from or returning to the house. It is off the beaten path but that is part of what makes this house so special. If you are looking for a unique house with spectacular views, this is one I would return to again!
