Excellent location with walking distance to so much! And a nice bonus was the onsite parking space. Excellent communication with host too. Older house, but clean and spacious. I will def have this one in mind when returning to this fun city.

The upper duplex was all remodeled. 2 sets of stairs to get to the place. Very cute inside. No AC currently but with windows open, stayed cool inside. It was too warm inside when we 1st got there but quick response from host and turned the radiant heat down. Nice kitchen area, bathroom, and living room. The bedrooms were small but had nice linen. The outside was a little scary when we drove up to the place. It was very dated and looked run down. Parking area in back of house was easy to get to but not a lot of space for the truck. Overall cute place and very decent price.

Clean, upper-level duplex with an awesome host! The house shows its age in some areas(good luck finding outlets in the living room), but it is a good value for the price. The duplex comfortably sleeps 4, but could go up to 6 without too much trouble. The living room is cozy but clean and makes a great hangout spot.

Our host did not communicate check in info with us as advertised (24hours prior to arrival) I had to ask him the morning of for information about getting in. The gas oven has broken knobs and would ignite at the slightest bump (fire hazard) and there are no outlets, like anywhere. My husband slept on the couch because that was the only working outlet for his cpap machine. Additionally, the listing says 2 bunk beds, which I would interpret as 4 beds total, fun fact, its not a bunk at all. It is a day bed and a trundle. Which made things incredibly awkward for my husband and his 5 guy friends attending a convention. Upon check out there were no instructions on expectations so they left it looking like it did when they came. Hopefully all is good...

I’m sorry to hear that parts of your stay didn’t meet expectations, and I want to address each of your concerns. Regarding check-in, I apologize for the delay in communication. Our goal is always to send details 24 hours in advance, and I understand how frustrating it can be to have to follow up the morning of arrival. For the oven, thank you for bringing that to our attention. Safety is extremely important to us. We have since inspected the knobs and made the necessary adjustments to ensure they are functioning properly and safely. In terms of outlets, the home does have multiple outlets throughout (including several in each bedroom), though I understand that layout and furniture placement can impact accessibility. We’ve since adjusted the living room setup to make outlet access easier and will continue looking for ways to improve convenience for future guests. Regarding the bedding, I completely understand how the listing description may have caused confusion. Since the platform does not offer a “trundle bed” option, we initially had to select the closest available category. That said, we have since updated the listing to more clearly describe the setup to avoid any misunderstandings moving forward. Lastly, I appreciate you noting the checkout condition of the home—thank you for leaving it in good shape. We’ll also review our checkout instructions to make sure expectations are clearer for future guests. We genuinely value your feedback, as it helps us improve the experience for all guests. This is a great spot for the money, really can't beat it. Close to everything downtown, street and off street parking. The place was nice and clean, smelled good, and looked to be newly updated. We didn't have any issues at all. There are a few quirks, which are to be expected with a place that's actually reasonably priced while still being this close to everything. Wifi was fast, quiet area. Overall I'd rent this place again.A few things worth noting that aren't really clear from the listing. First, it is a second story unit, but I believe the host family lives downstairs, or someone does anyway. Didn't bother us and we tried to be courteous. Just as an FYI.Entry was confusing the first time. From the front, there's a gate on the side of the house that you go in, we didn't know this, so we were kind of guessing. And then there's two sets of stairs to two back doors. Instructions for this would have been helpful. We figured it out since only one has a keypad. Entry from the alley parking is a bit chaotic, lots of random stuff in the back yard to navigate.Also there is no AC. We opened windows overnight to help keep it cool, and it was fine. The provided fans did help. Girls were annoyed that there was no hair dryer, listing said there was. We also didn't receive any checkout instructions. So we did our best when leaving. Overall a nice, charming place that's close to it all, and a definite bargain. Would recommend it if you're looking!
