Ted’s place is a great value. It has just the items we would need. The bed—so important—is excellent. It’s close to a lot of great restaurants and coffee places and nice places to walk. We recommend it.
Ted was a very communicative and accommodating host! The place was clean and spacious, and it was in the perfect location for us. Would definitely recommend!
This stay was excellent! Excellent communication from the host. There were some additional questions that I had shortly after we checked in as well as during our stay. The host was prompt, respectful, and polite! Gave answers I needed and took care of the few things I asked about. The spot, while flipped from the picture, was impeccable. So clean, loved it all. The fridge was surprisingly just right in size for the stay my 7 yr old and I had. More plug ins than i believe ive seen in hotel rooms! The bathroom sink was much smaller than im used to but cute! I saw one review mentioned something about no way to vent the bathroom after using... theres a switch, while also just opening the window. Neighborhood seemed good even though we were more out than in. I had some deliveries and they didnt seem to have a problem finding the place! I loved that this place was so close to everything. While there isnt the main address on the building, google showed which building and that was helpful and of course the number on the unit being right on the door. The building is attached TO the restaurant Una Mas. Id suggest to stay here. Simply be aware of the walls and volumes. A huge thank you TO our host for helping make our 1st time in san diego an incredibly pleasant stay!!

The host was kind and accommodating. We stayed all February. Comfortable furniture, cute layout, good walkable city area. A few notes to take into consideration:It is on a busy main street, so not very quiet.Day 6 the cleaning person unlocked the door to our room via code despite our month long stay. There was no emergency lock on the door. The host offered a two-day refund for the incident and offered to install an emergency lock. We had no dumpster to put our trash, we had to leave it by the restaurant gate as told by the host. On our check out date the cleaning employees moved the trash we left at the gate next to our vehicle. The shower door didn’t work properly and often soaked the floor. Shower head was previously angled to avoid getting water on the floor The bathroom fan and light were timed about 60 seconds and shut off every time we showered. The lack of ventilation caused water to accumulate on the walls and sliding door to the bathroom.Again, the studio shared a building with a restaurant. On busy nights there was no close by available parking as the only lot was reserved for employees only.No available laundry machines on site.
Traveled alone, and stayed for 5 days. The unit was very clean with many shops and restaurants on the same road. Parking, though street parking only was a non issue as there was always a spot available no farther than the restaurant attached to the building. I would definitely stay again. If I had to make one recommendation it would be maybe a small tv, as the unit doesn’t have one however this did not affect how much I enjoyed my stay as everything else was perfect and comfortable. I highly recommend staying with Ted.
Great cozy stay in a great area. It is away from the busy shops but also walking distance to the main attractions on Adams Ave. Parking was not much of an issue for me during my mid week stay. The weekends might be a different story
