Cozy Mountain Home / close to ski mountain + lakes
Perfect all-season cozy escape. Burrowed on Fitch hillside this 4 bedroom/ 3 full bathroom house over looks a mountainous and forested valley.
Cozy and spacious for the whole family to enjoy indoors and outdoors. Easy acess within walking distance to hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, 4-wheeling, and snowmobile trails.
The area offers all types of activities for each time of year. Whether you're into skiing, lake activities, apple picking, hiking, shopping or simply enjoying nature.
The space
Situated on a woodsy 5 acres with historic roots. You'll see the old rock walls through-out the property from previous sheep farmers.
The back deck:
Our spacious back deck will not disapoint. When winter weather subsides, typically from early May to early Novemeber, our outdoor furniture and grill will be accessible.
Fire pit:
May- Novemeber and as long fire permits are obtained (easily done online, Maine gov). Wood not provided.
Within-walking distance:
-At the top of the hill a trailhead leads you to the back entrace of the Narramissic trails, which leads you to the historical farmhouse and barn. This hike over looks the white mountains with breathtaking views.
-Across the street at the bottom of the hill to the right is Bald Pate Mountain, which give you acess to a netwrok of hiking, biking, snow-mobile, and 4-wheeling trails.
-Across the street at the bottom of the hill to the left is Five Fields Apple Orchid. In the fall the orchid is overflowing with apples and delicious goodies. In the winter you will find the vast acres within the orchid and surround forrest turned into a magical winter wonderland for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. The beautiful views and trails will make you feel right at home within nature.
Prime location:
3-12 minuets away from many of Maines famous lakes and ponds including Foster Pond, Peabody Pond, Hancock Pond, Moose Pond, Sebago Lake, Long Lake and Higland Lake.
12 minuets from downtown Bridgton and Naples offering amazing resturants, shaps, galleries and seasonal activites.
Our favorite "Music on Main Street" in Bridgton offers free entry to live music under the lights with local food trucks (from end of May to October).

The home is located close to the top of Fitch hill, the beginning of the road is steep. During winter months we suggest using a vehicle that has AWD or 4WD. The road is plowed in the winter but due to the incline some cars may struggle in the slippery snow conditions. Please contact us if you are having issues getting up the road.
