We rented this house while our family was in town for a funeral, and it ended up being the perfect place for all of us to come together. The house was comfortable, clean, and had plenty of space for our cousins and family to gather, catch up, share memories, and support each other during a difficult time. It felt welcoming from the moment we arrived, and we’re grateful to have had such a great place to stay. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable home for a family gathering.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was as the host described. The house is roomy, clean and bright. Suggestions we would offer for improvement would be to provide a ramp entrance, at least on one side of the front steps. One family member who came to share meals with us, etc., had a very difficult time going up and down the stairs. Another would be to provide a more "friendly" welcome. There were no materials re: Brookings and surroundings. We have stayed at MANY VRBO houses and most offered up lots of "be sure to check this out!" literature. Also, there was no "welcome and have fun and here's a box of cookies, etc...". Again, most places we have stayed offered a welcome of some sort...bottle of wine, some flowers, a box of cookies, etc. It really makes a difference. Supplies were also limited: no Kleenex, 3 rolls of TP for 6 people staying 4 nights!, no condiments, other than salt and pepper....that is unusual. The house is great. We would recommend the host provide a better "welcome" and more supplies. Thank you.,
