Geodesic Dome House in Organic Farm

Our geodesic dome house, located in a quiet forest village in the Izmir countryside, is situated within a 10-acre farm practicing organic and regenerative agriculture. In addition to the natural riches surrounding it, it is located in a position where you can reach historical sites and beaches within a short distance. Designed to experience life in harmony with the countryside, the dome house has a usable area of 75 m² including the veranda.

Built with environmentally conscious materials and methods in a geodesic dome shape, our house offers guests the experience of living in a spacious, circular space. Our dome is located in a quiet and relaxing pine forest. It is a place with mountain air and the sound of cicadas in the summer. We grow seasonal vegetables and fruits on our land throughout the year using regenerative organic farming methods. You can purchase the products we harvest during your stay on the farm.

Hot water is available in the bathroom and taps. We would also like to mention that the bedroom is located on the mezzanine level and is not enclosed by walls to ensure you get the best dome experience. The house has a fully equipped kitchen (oven, kettle, water purifier, coffee machine, extractor fan, etc.) where you can cook as you wish.

We find it enjoyable to walk around the Ataköy lake or the grove adjacent to our property. The ancient Greek oracle center of Claros, only 6 km away from our property, is another nearby attraction you can visit.

It is 35 minutes away by car from Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport. If you prefer public transportation to reach Izmir, the nearest Izban station is 30 minutes away by bus. There is a bus stop within a 10-minute walking distance. The 775 Cumaovası-Özdere bus line, which runs along the coastal road, takes you to the district of Menderes, the Cumaovası Izban station, and the coastal towns of Ahmetbeyli and Özdere, as well as several bays. The dome house is located in the south, within a 35-minute drive of coastal, historical, and tourist destinations such as Kuşadası, Ephesus, Selçuk, and Özdere. Our nearest coastline, Ahmetbeyli, and the surrounding bays are 7-9 km away and accessible by public transport. Within the village, you can explore the Ataköy lake area by bike or on foot, with numerous forest trails and hiking routes available (e.g., the Ephesus-Mimas hiking route).
