The house is located in Jadrija between Vodice and Sibenik on a peninsula. Sibenik lies between Zadar in the north and Split in the south, on the Dalmatian coast.

The distance to the sea is somewhat deceptive. It really only takes 3 minutes. Our house is in the second row, seen from the lower road. By car it is 15km to Sibenik and 10km to Vodice.

In the neighbourhood you will find the Krka, Paklenica and Murter National Parks. The towns of Sibenik, Trogir, Split and Zadar are no more than 50 kilometres away and well worth a visit. There is a ferry from Jadrija to Sibenik. It takes 15 minutes and you arrive at the harbour promenade in Sibenik. The market is about 200 metres away. You are already in the old town centre. A boat trip to the islands of the Sibenik archipelago is also highly recommended. The islands are great for swimming, snorkelling, eating, drinking and relaxing. The last ferry returns at 9.30 pm - then you can have a drink or coffee on the harbour promenade in Sibenik and round off a successful day. In Omis, which is 20 kilometres behind Split in the direction of Dubrovnik, is the Cetina, which flows into the sea there. There is a 2 km long golden sandy beach and a mountain massif that rises up to 1400 metres right next to the town. Behind the massif, rafting tours of all levels of difficulty have been available on the Cetina for several years. Some of our guests have booked family rafting and were thrilled. Water skiing is excellent in the mornings and evenings, when the water is almost always as smooth as glass. In Vodice, which is about 10 kilometres away, you can hire jet skis, water skis and boats of all kinds. Here, too, nothing works without a sports boat licence. Don't let them talk you into it either - they say you don't need a licence or there are no checks. If something goes wrong, the hire company will tell you that they said they had the licence and just forgot it at home.

This flat is located on the ground floor, was completed in 2013 and has been rented out to great acclaim ever since. It has two bedrooms and can accommodate up to 7 people. Bedroom 1 has a queen-size bed measuring approx. 1.50m by 2.00m. Bedroom 2 has a single bed and a very comfortable bunk bed with very good mattresses. In the living room with kitchen and satellite TV there are two Ikea beds, which are also very comfortable sofas. The sofa can be converted into a bed or vice versa in a few simple steps. The kitchenette has a sink, ceramic hob with 4 hotplates and a fridge/freezer combination. There is also a coffee machine, egg cooker, kettle and toaster as well as cooking utensils, glasses and crockery. There is also a dishwasher in the flat. If you are missing or need anything, my wife and I will certainly be able to help you. Between the kitchen-living room and the bathroom (WC with shower, washing machine, washbasin) there is a loggia (also carved out of the rock) which leads onto the terrace. There you will also find a brick table with a corner bench and chairs carved out of the rock. Towels, bath towels, bed linen and a washing machine are of course also in the flat, along with a basic supply of oil, sugar, salt, spices, etc. So you can travel with peace of mind with 'small' luggage. The flat is built with natural Dalmatian stone in the old style. It gives an impression of the life of the Dalmatians in their typical stone houses, without having to do without comfort, for example air conditioning, WLAN, satellite TV with Astra. There is a large barbecue and a washing machine on the middle floor. Washing powder, fabric softener and firewood are free of charge. You will also find bath mats, flippers, parasols and other beach utensils here. WLAN is of course also free of charge. Free Wi-Fi is available in all bars, cafés and restaurants on the beach. Final cleaning and air conditioning are also included in the price. Unfortunately, this is not a matter of course in Dalmatia.

The beach is 3 minutes away. The path is almost completely in the shade. You can also bring your own boat and moor it at the harbour pier. If you are interested in acquiring a recreational boating licence, we will send you the application form by e-mail. This must be signed and returned to us in the original with 2 biometric passport photos. You will receive the course material as a link. If you study for 5 - 10 hours, you will pass the exam. This should be completed at least 1 month before you go on holiday. If you come for at least a week and register for the exam as soon as you arrive, you will still be able to pass. The exams usually take place twice a week with the harbour captain in Sibenik or Vodice.

Internet is free of charge. The cafés on the beach also have free WLAN. A cot is available. On request, we can put you in touch with boat owners who offer all kinds of excursions. These flats are also wheelchair accessible and we recommend travelling via Passau - Wels - Graz - Maribor - Zagreb - Split. I would avoid the Tauern and Katscherberg tunnels during the holiday season. As a motorway exit to us in Croatia I recommend the exit number 20 "Pirovac, Nacionalni Park Kornati, Otok Murter, Vodice". From there it is about 25 kilometres of country road - always drive in the direction of Sibenik. Tolls and refuelling can be paid by EC or credit card. Finding the house itself is relatively difficult. Here is an attempt at directions: Immediately at the beginning of the village there is a supermarket on the right-hand side. 20 metres straight ahead, now take the first tarred road on the right - approx. 100 metres along the road, then the second tarred road on the right - 20 metres straight ahead and now the first tarred road on the right. Now you are already in our street. After about 100 metres you will see a street lamp on the right-hand side, set back a little between a white and a green house. Park there by the street lamp. You will find our house in the second row between the white and the green house.
