About this property
Holiday apartment Ambingue for 1 - 4 persons with 1 bedroom - Holiday house
ED Refnr. 2771703
Both apartments have separate entrances with a distance of approx. 20 metres and the barbecues in the garden are separate for one host family per flat, including seating, and the distance between the barbecues is more than 5 metres. Each guest family has its own AP including bathroom and mini kitchen. This holiday flat is located in the municipality of Cangas de Onis, in the village of Tornín, approx. 5 km from the centre of Cangas de Onis. The holiday flat is located on the ground floor of a typical Asturian country house, in which there are two other flats. A separate garden and an extra driveway belong to the house and can be used by all tenants. The river Rio Sella is only 150 metres away and is ideal for swimming and fishing. It is possible to start hikes directly from the house. By car starting point to visit 3 nature parks. You are practically in the centre as a starting point. The road N 625 is in the river valley and relatively flat, ideal for cycling or on the byways of the river. See also notes from customer reviews.
Iron, drying rack & hairdryer are part of the basic equipment. Laundry can also be done in a room by prior arrangement.
The holiday flat offers one room as a living room / eat-in kitchen including dining room. The dining room table is extendable. A sofa bed for 2 persons is also available there. There is also a separate bedroom and a separate bathroom. All rooms were newly renovated in 2008. The flat is bright and has large doors and windows. All windows have tilt and turn closures and curtains for darkening. The walls are partly in natural stone rustic and provided with additional plasterboard walls and painted in colours to match the room structure. All floors are tiled to match the living style.
Lounge on the ground floor with TV station to the right of the entrance door. With SAT antenna Astra & Hotbird, (also some German programmes) DVD player and terrestrial programmes for Spanish channels. The TV can be viewed from the sofa bed as well as from the dining room table / kitchen. The TV is placed on a chest of drawers, which also contains board games, dice games, playing cards, etc.. Above this is a sideboard with glasses and additional kitchen accessories. The pull-out sofa bed has a sleeping area of 140 x 190 cm. At the foot end without boundary board. To the left of the entrance door is the round, extendable dining table, which can seat up to 6 people. From the dining room table, you can look out through the large window onto the unspoilt driveway, the garden and directly onto the nearby mountains. Towards the first partition wall is an Ikea mini kitchen and a wall unit with kitchen crockery. The mini kitchen contains a fridge with small freezer compartment, shelves, sink and a small ceramic hob with 2 pots at the same time. To the left of this is a mobile shelf with kitchen utensils and a microwave and coffee machine. From the entrance / open-plan lounge, a small integrated corridor on the left leads to the separate bathroom. The bathroom is without a platform, cleanly tiled, with a shower, WC and washbasin. Additional storage furniture for towels and shelves/bathroom cabinets. There is a small storage cupboard at the end of the corridor and a wardrobe above it. There are also further coat hooks in front of the hallway and the sofa bed. A sliding door on the right-hand side of the hallway leads directly into the bedroom. The bed measures 180 x 200 cm, consisting of a high-quality mattress measuring 180 x 200 cm. The beds are made in Germany with a very firm mattress and no sagging. Two bedside tables, reading lamps, large window with alarm handle. You have a view of the forest and the natural forecourt and can see the mountains. There is a curtain to darken the room. There is a built-in wardrobe in one corner. At the foot end is a chest of drawers with shelves and drawers with a very large mirror above it. This is in light rustic oak, painted white. There are additional blankets in the wardrobe for cooler weather. The ceiling is made of wood and the floor above is fitted with footfall sound insulation. By Spanish standards, the sound insulation is sufficient according to the building regulations. Incidentally, each of the two neighbouring flats and that of the landlord's family have separate entrance doors. Out of consideration for the flatmates, cars should not be driven in or out after 11 pm with loud noise. A separate car parking space is available only 30m opposite. In general, the residential area in this rural area in Spain is still relatively safe from theft etc. The municipality of Cangas de Onis is located in eastern Asturias. The beaches around Ribadesella and the wonderful coastline of the east coast of Asturias are around 25 kilometres away. Cangas de Onis borders Parres and Ribadesella to the north, Llanes and Onis to the south and Amieva and Parres to the west. Tornín is an ideal place to live for exploring eastern Asturias with the Picos de Europa biosphere reserve, the legendary Covadonga, the protected east coast around Llanes, Ribadesella, the dinosaur coast with fossilised dinosaur tracks and the unique coastal mountains of Sierra del Sueve and Sierra del Cuera. The still largely unspoilt Redes Biosphere Reserve and the Peloño Nature Reserve are also nearby. This natural area is home to the entire fauna of Asturias. This includes the northern Spanish brown bear (Oso Pardo), wolves, vultures and eagles. The salmon river Rio Sella is 25 metres away and the river Rio Dobra is 500 metres away. Swimming in crystal-clear water is a special experience here. The rivers are also a true fishing paradise for anglers. Here you live in the heart of the natural paradise of Asturias and at the same time close to the great cultural and historical treasures of Asturias in Covadonga (main sanctuary, Cueva Santa, Pelayo tomb, evidence of the beginning of the Reconquista), Cangas de Onis (dolmen chapel and first capital of the former kingdom of Asturias), Llanes (medieval old town, Peña Tú national monument).
