Allison is a great host! She was very quick to respond while we were staying at the house. The house renovations are beautiful, and the lake is the star of the show!

I am so glad you were able to visit the lake again! Thank you for being so patient!!
The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. It was in a peaceful location with few people and lots of nature. The hill down to the cabin was a little tricky to drive up after it rained but after the initial unloading we parked at the top and walked up and down.

Thank you staying with us! That hill can get tricky in inclement weather! Thanks for being patient!!
This place was a great place to stay, it was very clean and comfortable! if you have family it family friendly has a cute loft up top where they could sleep. But there were four of us adults so none of us slept up there. The location is very secluded, we did not see anyone while we were there. The water was beautiful to look at! We never did make it out on the kayak or the paddle boat. If we stay again, we definitely would do that. The host’s were wonderful. They got back with us every time I sent them a message. Thank Allison for making us feel at home

Thank you for staying with us! We would love to have you back again as we continue to make it even better!
When my wife and I drove from Edwardsville, Illinois up to see our son in Detroit, we wanted to skip the usual Hampton Inn in Auburn Hills and check out a small place out of the city. This cute cottage on the end of a small lake caught our eye and worked out perfectly. Situated at the end of the lake, the cabin is very private, and there are not many people around, even on the weekend.Nestled in "horse country," Whiggsville Lake was tranquil and pretty. A family of large red-eyed wading birds -- like four feet tall or more! -- roamed our yard and the one next door, and the two adults with the small one echoed our family of three this past Father's Day weekend. I also woke up to make coffee and saw an eagle in the tree down by the water before it took flight. There are largemouth bass -- I caught a two-pounder on a trusty purple plastic worm--, rock bass, and bluegill hanging in the lily pads here at the southern end of the lake. The large deck had a big table and umbrella and a very nice grill, so steaks and baked potatoes featured on Sunday. We also did two paddleboat excursions on Sunday, since the wind was not a factor. We hoped to have a more fun alternative to staying in a hotel and this place greatly exceeded expectations.

Thank you so much for the kind words! We are so happy we exceeded your expectations! We look forward to your future visits!!
We, Kevin and Allison (K-Al), have lived in Michigan our whole lives. We were married in 2000, and have three wonderful boys. We started this rental to help cover the cost of college. Our oldest is a senior at Central going for his doctorate in physical therapy, our middle is a freshman at OCC studying cyber security, and our youngest in a junior at Oxford High School. Thought most of our profits will go to the boys, our love of our lives, our golden retriever Lucy has been diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia. She is only a year old, so some money will be put aside to help pay for a total hip replacement.
