The owner of the place, Anneke is just amazing! She is always willing to help and accommodate if it is possible! The place is modern, clean and cozy! We have visited the Oosterwolde twice and for sure there will be “a next time” if we are going to visit that area of the Netherlands again…

Desperately needs fly screens

Nice clean property, but a few key things missing: 1. Fly screens; you cannot afford to open the windows either during the day or night, because there are loads and loads of mosquitos around the property, in trees etc. It's quite a damp area, so they love it. Alternatively, the owners can put air conditioning in. 2. Curtains/blinds on the front door and kitchen window; there's currently no privacy when you go from bedroom to bathroom, as the fully glazed front door will allow everyone outside to see you in high definition. 3. More hooks and shelves, especially in the bathroom, hardly anywhere to hang your towels out to dry, or place your things in the shower. 4. A few more kitchen utensils would be nice, like scissors.

Tolle Umgebung
