About this property

My dear nest

“Mein liebes Nest” is the second holiday rental offered by “Heidenest im weitem Land,” and as the name suggests, it’s designed for two people who want to spend more time together. This holiday rental is the former “retirement quarters” of our farmstead and offers a completely separate living area. It was just completed—in mid-September 2021.
So, right after breakfast under the apple tree and an espresso, you can start a day full of activities—such as a bike ride through the heath. After a great day, you can relax wonderfully in the large bathtub and then wind down the day with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace. Only Rembrandt’s “Night Watch” watches over your sleep. Direct access to the garden lets you unwind—not just while gazing at the stars or enjoying coffee in the sun.

If you’d like to bring a dog—or even two—please let us know, as we also have a small pack on the farm.

Rural relaxation

Fintel is rural on the outskirts of the Lüneburg Heide. The area is beautiful and ideal for walks and bird watching. Frau Anker is an excellent host and the accommodation is as described and met all our needs. There is great attention to detail and many little extras including doing our washing at no extra charge. Only small gripe was the required £50 cleaning fee which was not advertised up front. Highly recommended.
