this is definitely a place that you would want to stay if you were renting a car and driving to other destinations in Puerto Rico. This beach was not very nice. It is not maintained. There will be seaweed on the beach and in the water. There is a road between the apartment and the beach.Pros:The owner of the apartment was very good at responding to messages and friendly. clean apartmentFelt safeGood location if you’re wanting to drive to the rainforest for a zip lining or do a bio illuminance Kayaking tour nearby or surf lessons. We had a good time and doing those tours. Old San Juan was very pretty to go visit. Driving around is pretty easyCons:Atlantic water is not great in my opinion. Beaches are not very pretty. They all have a very "public beach" feel.I know this is probably cultural, but everybody wears a Brazilian cut bathing suit or thong, which is a little much for me.Lots of pot smokingThe apartment itself felt cheap like Ikea cheap. The front desk lady yelled at me for having to buzz me in instead of using my key. Super rude & not welcoming whatsoever.There were no hangers to hang things up in the closet, even after I requested them.No electrical outlets in the bathroom
