Perfect Family Vacation

Our family of 8 had an absolutely fabulous time at Cabin 17! It truly exceeded our expectations! The house was perfectly clean and very organized with helpful labels on the switches! The kitchen had everything we needed; there were even children's cups and silverware. I loved that the bathrooms felt very new; the whole house had a freshly updated feel. The beds were comfortable, and the 4 kids sleeping upstairs had a great time being in their own space. The firepit had 6 nice chairs, and it was so peaceful to sit there at the fire overlooking the lake. The two docks were handy! The kids loved fishing and caught many small fish right from the docks. We caught a couple of large pike while out on the boat, also! The lake bottom is sandy and shallow near the docks and good for swimming. The sauna felt very new and was easy to use. We enjoyed sitting in there and could still look at the lake! We were so glad that we rented the pontoon boat! It was fun to check out the whole lake, very peaceful and relaxing. We were pleasantly surprised to find 3 kayaks, 1 paddleboard, a canoe, and many lifejackets all there for our use! It is a perfect lake to use those features. The sunsets were amazing, and the gigantic rock formation at the house was an unexpected treat! The kids loved climbing all over it! You absolutely cannot beat the lake views from inside or outside of this house!! (Another highlight in the area was going to Slippery/Slide Rock!) The hosts Ali and Travis were so kind and immediately responsive to any questions we had. We are so thankful for the beautiful family time we had here!
