Near Wagrain are the six mountain lakes Jägersee, Tappenkarsee, Blauer See, Daarmoossee, Rupertisee and the Grafenbergsee. You can take a refreshing dip in some of the lakes in summer. Wagrain is located in the heart of the Salzburg Sports World, with 230 kilometres of slopes, almost 100 lifts and more than 250 kilometres of cross-country trails. The village is pleasantly busy, especially in high season.

In summer, Wagrain offers green alpine meadows with beautiful flower fields. Take a journey along the winding hiking trails, where each step brings you closer to hushed mountain lakes and panoramic views. Adventurers can indulge themselves in the mountains on mountain bike tours or paragliding, while peace-seekers relax at the edge of babbling mountain streams
