Nice place to stay

Overall, the property itself is very nice. It is very cozy for how small it is. The studio has 2 rooms and a bathroom and a nice little outside patio area as well. The place was very clean and well kept. We did visit for St. Patrick's Day which was a colder day out of the year and the thermostat was blocked from allowing you to raise the tempature of the studio past 65 degrees. This made our stay a bit chilly even while inside... The studio is also not in the best of neighborhoods in Savannah. The little bodega next door does have bars on their windows. The owner is very nice and accommodating but I probably would not stay here again.

Great Location

I liked the property and location. We walked and used Uber to get to where we were going. Savannah is a walker friendly town. The accommodations were great for us. But if you like 5 star hotels, this is not for you. The inside was very clean and just the right size for us. The only negative I have to report is the outside needed some work-mainly cleaner cushions on the front porch.

Cozy Spot, Great Location

We loved staying at Jerry’s. The studio was clean and well kept, the bed was comfortable, and the back porch was lovely and secluded. The location is also hard to beat - just a few short blocks from Back in the Day Bakery, Two Tides, and a lot of great restaurants on Bull St.

Ear Plugs

It's a bit noisy at night with the train located right near the house on a busy street with people walking by. Had just suggest a pair of plucks other than that it was great

Savannah Suite!

Great place and location. Walking distance to Forsyth and Daffin parks. Daffin has a nice cushy running trail and a dog park too. Forsyth always has something going on and some good healthy places to eat at the end if you want to do a picnic. Also situated between two streets with bike lanes that you can make a nice loop through the city with. Apartment was very clean, well-stocked and perfect amount of room for two of us and our pooch. Very private, shaded back deck was a bonus too, although it rained a bit when we were there. Bed is very comfy and big TV was awesome. On street parking was right out the front door and was always available too. Green Truck is a block away and has good food too. Thanks for sharing your place Jerry!

Perfect romantic getaway for two

Ideal size for two - love that there is a kitchen and a Kroger's down the street! The outdoor space is where we had our morning coffee and planned the day. Walking into the heart of the Historic District each day was a delight. And of course Savannah!

Cute studio

We were very pleased with our rental and it's location. We walked to beautiful Forsyth park every day with our dogs as well as some restaurants that were close by , We loved "Blowin Smoke" and it's pet friendly. There's a Kroger just down the street for convenient shopping .The studio was clean and well stocked with a very comfortable bed.My husband loved all the channels he could get on the tv and I loved having a washer and dryer. We really enjoyed the patio for morning coffee and the fact that our doggies had a place to lay in the sun safely. We got the chance to meet Jerry and he was such a sweet guy who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. He gave us several suggestions on things to do and places to eat which was very helpful. We felt the location was great for getting around quickly but not being in the congested part of town and not having metered parking was a real plus too.We would definitely stay here again.

Perfect for Two

The studio apartment was perfect for our two person stay. It had everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully furnished, comfy bed and large bathroom. I especially enjoyed sitting out on the attached deck. A short, $5-$6 Uber ride to restaurants, River Street, the heart of Savannah.

Good Stay

I visited Savannah with my daughter. The studio is attached to Jerry's place (right next door). Jerry was very nice and he greeted us when we arrived, otherwise we had our own space. The place is only suited for 2 people, which we had. It is facing a busy street but when we were sleeping the traffic noise was not a problem. I would suggest removing the floor lamp and the swival chair. This would provide much more room in the small bedroom area. The lighting is ample with just the recliner. We did not cook in, but the kitchen is spacious if you wanted to prepare a meal and during warmer months you could eat outside and enjoy the back deck. The bathroom was a nice size for a studio I would suggest replacing the shower curtain with a heavy duty curtain. It was hard to keep the floor dry. I would also suggest replacing the towels. They were quite old and some were stained. The main thing that needs replacing were the sheets. The bed was comfortable but the sheets came off every night. The place is off the beaten path, but a very short drive to the historic district. For the price, it was a good place for our weekend visit. We enjoyed ourselves!

Terrific location, price, and comfort.

The studio is conveniently located with quick access to Forsythe Park, the historic district, the river, Daffin Park (with its great dog park), and Tybee Island. There is plenty of room in the studio, a full kitchen, a great bed, wifi, a big screen smart TV, and a terrific patio to eat on, drink on, and relax outside. We've been to Savannah many times and the location, if you don't want to spend all your time downtown, cannot be beaten, though you'll need a car or bike if you're not ready for long walks. Three great restaurants are within a block: Narobia's (breakfast & lunch: southern/soul food), Green Truck (lunch and dinner: burgers, salads, sandwiches); and Al Salaam (lunch and dinner: Middle East cuisine). Clary's (breakfast) and Kroger's (groceries, beer & wine) are also right down the street. All in all, highly recommended.

Affordable

Excellent owner and a clean, comfortable place to stay. It is some distance to walk to River St., however the affordability of this place makes up for that. A cab or Uber ride gets you to the historic district in under ten minutes.

Worked out really great for us

We rented the whole house for 4 nights including the studio for our wedding traveler's party of 10 and had no real complaints about anything . . all good. The placed felt bigger then it appears in photos, very comfortable for 10 to gather and a great chef's kitchen too for those like us who love to cook. Dozens of house plants inside and out make it feel like you're at home. Very reasonably priced compared to Uptown homes and hotels. We appreciated being in a real-life Savannah residential neighborhood . . great for us but not for someone who may prefer to be in the middle of the hotel/tourist district. Enjoyed having the Middle Eastern carry-out and the Green Truck Cafe a few doors away, both outstanding. The Kroger grocery is right up Habersham to the north and the Habersham Beverage Warehouse to the south . . couldn't be easier. Loved the Saturday farm market near Forsyth Park. The owner was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. I would love to see more of the area sometime and wouldn't hesitate to return to this property. Thanks, Jerry for providing a quite unique place to stay.

Great Place

Wonderful Studio in Savannah. Jerry was a great host and gave us a very nice list of things to do and places to eat that let us pick and choose. The studio was in great condition and was perfect for a weekend getaway. Convenient to everything you'd want to do in Savannah. Would definitely stay here again!

Week end away

Jerry was a great host. He was quick to answer text and e-mail. It was just big enough to still be romantic and intimate. I wish the weather would have made the back porch area usable. We are already looking to plan another week end there soon! Thanks again Jerry!

Great value!

The property was very comfortable. We had street front parking right outside our door, which was very nice. Long walk or short drive to the river. Great restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay there again.

Great Romantic Birthday Getaway

My husband and I planned a quick trip to Savannah for his birthday. Jerry's place was PERFECT. It had everything we were looking for in a place to stay. It was so nice to have a full kitchen and laundry even though we were only there a weekend it was much better than any hotel. Jerry was quick to answer my text messages when we were uncertain of location and with our questions we had during our stay. I can't say anything bad about our stay and if we ever return to Savannah for a getaway without the kids we will be booking this little studio apartment. Thank you Jerry for everything.

Jerry was absolutely fabulous with providing us with information beforehand, being flexible with timings and easy to reach out to. It really felt like we were just staying at a friends place! I would recommend having a car if you want to visit the historic district but you can walk too. The place was clean, cozy and artistic. We loved our stay and would surely stay here again on our next visit to Savannah. P.s: Having cable, wifi was amazing as well. It really felt like you are just at home or a friends place, not a hotel feel at all.

We had a great time in Savannah. It was our first time and we planned on being in the city the majority of the time. This unit is perfect for our needs. Close enough to the main areas without the higher prices of an "intown" location. I highly recommend this unit.

Just right

If you are visiting the city and want to have a clean, quiet, and affordable place with full kitchen- this is the place for you. Exactly as advertised and I will be back. I liked being closer to Forsyth Park and also to dorm my college student resides in.

The owners were incredibly accommodating and informative, they could not have been better hosts. The city of Savanna was gorgeous andn inviting. If you have not been, go and stay here. You will be treated like family. I cannot say enough good things about this owner and the city.

Why they chose this property

This house caught our attention because of its quirky eclectic look and feel. The house is interesting, and has a very relaxing 'homey' atmosphere.

What makes this property unique

The Studio Suite was an added bonus offering a private, intimate place for Two. Great for parents or grandparents who want some quiet time from the rest of the family, or for a romantic 'get-away' just for Two.
