The Space:

The Drumlin Suite at The Inn on Jefferson is a stunning example of modern loft living housed within a piece of Grand Rapids history. Formerly a historic rug shop, this side-by-side suite offers a unique multi-level layout with soaring ceilings and abundant natural light—ensuring no neighbors are above or below you.



The ground floor is designed for gathering, featuring a sun-drenched living room with a 65" flat-screen TV and a fully equipped chef’s kitchen. The kitchen includes seating for four, premium appliances, and a Keurig stocked with complimentary coffee and tea. A full bathroom with a walk-in shower is conveniently located just off the main living area.



Upstairs, the loft level is the heart of the home. The primary bedroom features a built-in King bed with a Tuft & Needle mattress, integrated USB power, and its own private, modern ensuite bathroom. Adjacent to the bedroom is the glass-walled den, a "cool" architectural feature that allows light to pour in while providing a dedicated workspace with an electric standing desk and ergonomic chair. For additional guests, the den's comfortable sofa pulls out into a queen-sized bed, and the sliding door can be closed for evening privacy. Blackout curtains are provided for the glass walls to ensure a restful night's sleep.



Comfort is guaranteed year-round with radiant floor heating and individual AC units on both levels. For entertainment, all three televisions feature YouTube TV with local and cable channels, plus easy access to your favorite streaming apps. You will also have access to one dedicated space in the attached garage. Please note that garage parking is shared and can be tight for oversized vehicles; street parking and city ramps are available as alternatives.



Guests enjoy full private access to the entire suite, including the main level and the loft, with a shared entrance through the building's main lobby. To maintain the integrity of this historic property, we require a two-night minimum stay on weekends.

The immediate area is a culinary treasure trove, with diverse dining options right outside your door. It’s a peaceful, sophisticated sanctuary with the best museums, nightlife, and culture of downtown Grand Rapids just a short stroll away.



Getting Around:

Downtown Grand Rapids is exceptionally walkable, and you’ll find that many of the best downtown attractions are just a short stroll away. For a faster way to see the sights, Lime scooters and bike rentals are readily available nearby, offering a fun and efficient way to navigate the surrounding neighborhoods.



If you prefer a ride, Uber and Lyft are highly active in this area and typically arrive within minutes. While the suite includes one assigned parking space, additional vehicles can be accommodated via metered street parking along Jefferson Avenue and adjacent streets. There are also several public parking lots and ramps within walking distance that provide flexible hourly, daily, or long-term options.

To enter, use your provided code at the main lobby of the historic brick building. From there, you can open the garage door to park your vehicle in its designated spot, then use your code again to enter your private unit.
