Cozy vacation home with a large terrace in the Thuringian Forest

We warmly welcome you to our detached vacation home. Vacationers seeking peace and quiet and nature lovers will find cozy accommodations here—and you’re welcome to bring your pet.

The house offers plenty of space for two people to enjoy a cozy vacation, and an extra bed for a child can be set up in the living room.
The vacation home is located on the outskirts of the state-recognized climatic health resort of Stützerbach in the Thuringian Forest, within a vacation home community.

The large, partially covered, south-facing sun terrace with a magnificent view of the forests and the Taubach Valley invites you to relax. The house stands alone on a large property.
The immediate surroundings of the house offer countless opportunities for leisure activities, Whether it’s hiking in the woods and on the nearby Rennsteig, biking along the Ilmtal Bike Trail, cooling off on hot days at the Stützerbach Forest Pool and the Hammergrund Outdoor Pool in Ilmenau, cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and tobogganing during the winter months—everything is possible. You have an ideal starting point for sightseeing in the cities of Erfurt, Weimar, and Suhl, as well as many other attractions and cultural sites in Thuringia.

There is good infrastructure, a nearby highway connection, and regional train and bus connections, which you can use free of charge with your visitor’s card.
The tourist tax, which is payable upon arrival, is graded as follows:
– 1.80 EUR per day for guests aged 18 and older;
– 0.90 EUR per day for guests aged 6 and older, students, the unemployed, and people with severe disabilities.

Since we are currently still working and therefore not on site, we offer check-in and check-out on Saturdays and by request.

The vacation home has been certified with 4 stars by the German Tourism Association several times in recent years.
