Perfect family visit - wonderful historic property
This was the perfect spot for a family visit for a long weekend. Three generations - ourselves, our son and his wife and toddler daughter - came to visit our daughter and son-in-law who live just two blocks away.
The apartment is spacious, clean, well stocked, and very child-friendly right down to the mini rocking chair and small nook filled with toys, games, oversized stuffed animals and dollhouse.
Communication with the owner was easy; we had no issues but if we had, the owner lives downstairs.
We feel lucky to have found this, and hope to stay there again when we are all able to get back to Portland together.
Highly recommend it.
Our stay in this beautiful apartment space was as close to perfect as one can get with a family on vacation. Location was not only in a quiet and quaint section of Portland but was central and convenient to all areas of the city. The space had all the amenities of a home and the comfort. The entire apartment was clean, very clean. When we return we intend to seek this space again, could not recommend it enough.
Fantastic property and thoughtful amenities. The property exceeded both the listing and our expectations. Hosts were communicative and welcoming. Location is fantastic, close enough to all the attractions of Portland while still being quiet. The kids nook was an outstanding feature and much appreciated by my 3 and 5 year olds. Will definitely seek to stay again if our travels bring us back to Portland.
This property sits on the outskirts of Portland and it was lovely. Yes, the stairs are a young mans game, but they weren't too bad as we were out and about for a majority of our trip. Rooms were well equipped with plenty of fans, blankets, etc. Communication with the owner was simple and breezy. He was always available when needed. Place was 25-30 minutes walking distance from anything you would need. Loved the stay, loved the city. Great overall experience.

Why they chose this property
This home is in a unique historic Victorian neighborhood. It is a beautiful place to walk and see beautiful homes. Close to the Old Port which offers fabulous restaurants, galleries and museums. Also on the peninsula which has beautiful ocean scenery and the Eastern Prom path.
