Thanks to the altitude of up to 2,400 meters, long winter seasons are often possible. The ski areas of Katschberg-Aineck, Fanningberg, and Obertauern are also easily accessible from here. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find trails right in the village.

In the summer, the impressive mountain landscape and surrounding forests invite hiking and cycling tours. Golfers will also be pleased, as a well-maintained 18-hole golf course is located just about 8 km away.
