We specifically chose this property, and paid more than some other options, because it advertised both air conditioning and a hot tub.Upon arrival, the hot tub jets did not work. We spent a significant portion of our first day going through troubleshooting steps and messaging back and forth, purchasing and hauling firewood and fire starters, and attempting to get the tub operational. We were ultimately informed the following day that the system was not functioning. Because this was a wood-fired hot tub, the non-working jets also meant it would not heat properly, making the wood and supplies we purchased unnecessary expenses.The air conditioning issue was equally frustrating. The house became increasingly hot throughout the first day. We spent hours adjusting thermostats, checking baseboards, and following various troubleshooting instructions. This continued late into the evening before we finally opened windows in an attempt to cool the house.The following day we learned there was actually no central air-conditioning unit present. Window units were eventually installed in the bedrooms, but there was still no cooling in the main living area. In short, we paid for a property that included a working hot tub and central air conditioning and did not receive either. Attempts to reach out for a partial refund from the hosts has been ignored.
