Perfection

This place was so wonderful! The rooms are newly redone , spacious, and perfect for families. There’s a large private garden for guests that is tranquil and allows you to unwind while the kids play. The premises is also very conveniently located near the Black Forest, Alsace, Switzerland, and Europa Park. Perfect for a long weekend from anywhere in BW. Will definitely be back. The owners are also very friendly and welcoming to their absolutely stunning property.

Wonderful Palais Wunderlich!

Such a fantastic place - we felt so fortunate to have found this listing and to have stayed here! This gorgeously renovated apartment in the former cigar factory, now renamed "Palais Wunderlich" by the owners, was our home for 4 days over the holidays, and it could not have been better. Everything is beautifully and thoughtfully designed and impeccably decorated, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable bedroom and living spaces on the main floor, to the upstairs loft bedroom and sitting area. The Hugenberg family were incredibly kind and helpful, providing restaurant recommendations ahead of time and also information on holiday closings of shops, etc. There's a courtyard and garden that would be lovely for warmer weather, and a magnificent garden room with a wood stove that guests can use as well. One thing I did not realize from the listing is that, depending on the owners' schedules, coffee, tea, and snacks are available in the "lobby" off the courtyard, which is such a nice touch. And guests can choose from a wide selection of wines, beer, and other drinks. Don't forget to try the amazing homemade jam, too! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! We are hoping to come back again.

Perfekte Unterkunft

Wir hatten den PERFEKTEN Aufenthalt in der Wohnung. Alles ist mit viel Liebe und Sorgfalt eingerichtet. So, als ob man es für sich selbst macht. Selbst die Kleinigkeiten sind passend, z.B. die frischen Blumen. Die Wohnung war auch super sauber, kein Staub zu finden, selbst von meiner Frau.Das nötigste für den ersten Morgen ist da (Kaffee, Tee, Zucker, Salz, ...), oder man bucht das Frühstück dazu. Getränke gibt es zum selber nehmen, Abrechnung auf Vertrauensbasis. Und die Auswahl der Weine ist spitze.Zum Entspannen (oder für die Kinder zum Spielen) ist der Gemeinschaftsgarten und Innenhof ein Paradies.Es gibt auch eine Tiefgarage mit Lademöglichkeit(kostet extra).Alles in allem war es ein perfekter Aufenthalt. Danke und Hochachtung an die Gastgeber.Bis bald ....

Fünf Sterne sind hier nicht genug.

Die Ferienwohnung war sehr geräumig und einfach wunderschön. Es fehlte an nichts und alles war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Die Einrichtung war sehr geschmackvoll und absolut passend zu dem gesamten Objekt. Zu dem Objekt gehört ein wunderbarer Innenhof und ein paradiesischer Garten mit Sommerküche. Wir waren elf Tage zu Gast und haben jede Stunde genossen.

Black Forest Trip

The apartment was very clean and well decorated. The owners were very welcoming and accommodating. They were very informative and helpful with information about the area. We really enjoyed our stay!
