About this property

Luxury Cabin w/ Private Waterfall & Hot Tub

Summary:

Welcome to your once-in-a-lifetime retreat, perfect for families and groups. Experience what few ever will, your own private trail leading to a secluded waterfall hidden within five wooded acres. Mornings begin with quiet walks beneath towering trees, afternoons with adventure just beyond your deck, and evenings soaking in the hot tub beneath the stars. Only minutes from Pigeon Forge, yet worlds away, this one-of-a-kind retreat offers a truly private Smoky Mountain experience unlike any other.

The Space:

On five private wooded acres in the heart of the Smokies, Waterfall View Lodge offers something virtually no other rental property in the region can match — your own private hiking trail leading to a secluded on-site waterfall. This 2,500+ square foot three-story log cabin sleeps 12, sits just 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge, and delivers a level of seclusion, space, and natural beauty that makes it genuinely one of a kind. Four bedrooms, three and a half baths, a hot tub, a gas fire pit deck, and a community pool round out one of the most complete packages in the Smokies.

Main Level

Step inside to a warm open-concept living space anchored by a gas fireplace, leather seating, and a large flat screen TV — immediately comfortable and built for gathering. The fully equipped kitchen features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a custom island with seating, with a dining table that seats eight and additional island seating for overflow. The main level king bedroom sits just off the living area with an attached full bath and walk-in shower, ideal for guests who prefer easy single-level access. A convenient half bath serves the main floor for guests. Step out onto the expansive covered deck and the full scope of the property reveals itself — hot tub, outdoor dining, a gas fire pit surrounded by Adirondack seating, and five wooded acres stretching out in every direction.

Upper Level

Three additional bedrooms occupy the upper level. The private king suite has its own ensuite bath with walk-in shower — quiet, elevated, and completely separate from the other rooms. A second king bedroom and the bunk room share a full bath between them. The bunk room features two sets of twin-over-twin bunks, sleeping four — perfect for kids or groups who need flexible overflow sleeping.

The Waterfall

Follow the private trail from the deck and into the trees until the canopy opens up and the waterfall reveals itself. Your own secluded waterfall, tucked into five wooded acres that belong entirely to your group for the duration of your stay. Fair warning: this is a real hike — uneven terrain, natural roots, and a descent that requires sure footing, especially after rain. Walking sticks are provided at the cabin to help make the trek safer and more enjoyable for everyone. The reward is absolutely worth it. Mornings here begin with quiet walks beneath the canopy. Evenings end with the sound of cascading water drifting up through the trees. It is the defining feature of this property and the reason guests who stay here come back.

Outdoor Living

The covered deck is the hub of outdoor life at Waterfall View Lodge — hot tub, gas fire pit, Adirondack seating, and wooded views in every direction. The surrounding yard gives kids and pets room to roam freely across the full five acres, and the trailhead to the waterfall is steps from the back of the cabin. From May through Labor Day, guests also have access to the community pool — a great bonus for summer family stays.

Getting Around

Pigeon Forge and the Parkway are 25 minutes away — close enough for a full day out at Dollywood or the attractions, far enough that the property feels completely removed from the tourist strip. Townsend and the quiet side of the Smokies are just down the road, and Cades Cove — one of the most iconic destinations in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park — is only 20 minutes away, making this cabin an exceptional base for wildlife viewing, scenic drives, and hiking without the crowds of Gatlinburg.

This is the cabin for guests who want something no one else has — five private acres, a waterfall in the backyard, and a luxury log cabin to come home to at the end of every day.

Guest Access:

Guests will have full private access to the entire cabin and surrounding five-acre property during their stay, including all interior living areas, covered decks, hot tub, outdoor seating areas, and the private hiking trail leading to the on-site waterfall. The property is exclusively yours to enjoy with no shared spaces.

You will receive a unique access code prior to arrival, allowing for a smooth self check-in experience so you can arrive at your convenience without the need for in-person key exchange.

Please note that a small number of closets or storage areas are reserved for housekeeping and owner supplies and will remain locked during your stay.

Other Things to Note:

The private trail and waterfall are natural features of the property. Guests are encouraged to use caution when hiking, especially after rain, as terrain may be uneven or slippery in certain areas. Children should be supervised at all times while exploring the trail or surrounding wooded areas.

As the home is located in a secluded mountain setting, you may encounter local wildlife during your stay. Please keep doors closed and avoid leaving food outdoors to maintain a safe environment.

We strongly encourage guests to obtain travel insurance prior to their stay to protect against unforeseen circumstances such as weather, illness, or travel delays that may impact your plans.

Pets are welcome with a non-refundable fee of $75 + tax per pet. Pets must be crated if left unattended inside the home.

Streaming services are available using guests’ personal login credentials.

We want your stay to feel peaceful, private, and uninterrupted. While we are not located on site, our team is based nearby and available should you need anything during your visit.

We’ve hosted 1000s of lovely guests at our properties and I have never received less than a 4 star review. I have also never had anyone be as rude or disrespectful as this guest. I would have rather left these dates open and lost money than have hosted him. He called and was so rude and extremely disrespect. This is a beautiful expensive home that had an air conditioning issue. No worries Shawn we addressed the air conditioning issue within hours despite the call coming from him at 8 pm. It was fixed in 2.5 hours after hours. After the ac issue was fixed I never heard from the guest again. There is plenty of parking and the drive up is steep because the home is gorgeous and secluded on a mountain. This guest was rude and disrespectful. Please stay away from this guest at all costs.
