About this property

The Garden Room, Trinity Guest House

We are conveniently located on the main road, just a 10 minute walk to the historic part of Trinity. Our beautiful home sits on a forested acre and a half lot, well-situated just moments away from walking trails and ocean views. If you have time, some whale watching and hiking on the Skerwink trail are must-do activities! We are happy to provide accommodations to anyone interested in visiting this unique place we call home. We know you won't be disappointed!

We provide coffee/tea and a home baked treat to start your day!

We are available at all times during your stay. We will make alternate arrangements if we must be absent for a period of time.

There is so much to do here, it is difficult to narrow it down. Be sure to go out whale watching, sea kayaking or an ATV tour with Trinity Eco Tours, see some dinner theatre/shows and the outdoor pageant hosted by Rising Tide Theatre. Hike the Skerwink trail, visit the Port Rexton Brewing Co., the Trinity Forge, Aunt Sarah's Chocolate Shop, The Dock Marina Restaurant/Gallery/Gift Shoppe, the Hiscock House and much more! When you are done in the immediate area, be sure to head down to Bonavista for a day excursion to see the lighthouse and puffin colony and other historic sites. Stop off at the Bonavista Social Club, then, on the way back for a wood-fired pizza or the Two Whales Coffee Shoppe in Port Rexton for a freshly brewed coffee and a partridgeberry brownie! :)

There is no public transportation but many things are within walking distance and tours can be arranged.

I strongly suggest not booking this hotel if you have any other option. The attitude from the hotel owner and the staff is not acceptable! The biggest problem is that you cannot find the hotel while you do a google search with the address provided by the hotel staff. The staff insists that customer should read the lengthy instructions carefully and don’t want to make it more convenient for customer. I asked for emailing the detailed instructions and got refused for several times. It is unfortunately that the mobile signal is pretty bad in the Trinity region. While I complained about this inconvenience, the staff and the owner asked me to leave instead of understanding my complaint and improve. This is the worst hotel experience I ever experienced while I travel globally.

I spent the final 2 days of a fabulous Maritime vacation on the Bonavista peninsula. So very happy I chose Trinity Guest House for my stay. Great location, spotless room, comfortable and peaceful. Wonderful host. Easy to access from highway and breathtaking scenic drives - both in sunny skies and fog. :-). Thank you for a wonderful finale to my holiday!

The room was immaculate and had everything we needed including a small fridge and coffee supplies. Micheala even delivered home made muffins for breakfast! The house was quiet and check in was super easy and the bathroom was fully stocked. The room was even better than I expected and it was a short drive into Trinity. Would stay there again.
