Why they chose this property

Jebel Sifah is one of Oman's best-kept secrets — a private coastal resort community about 75 minutes southeast of Muscat, set against dramatic mountains and the Gulf of Oman. It has the feel of a genuine escape: quiet, clean, and strikingly beautiful, without the crowds you'd find at more well-known destinations. We chose it because it offers something genuinely rare in the region — a place where families and remote workers can fully switch off, surrounded by nature, with the sea right outside. The isolation is part of the draw.

What makes this property unique

The Floatie Flat is one of the only properties in Jebel Sifah with a pool outside your door — and it's designed specifically for families and remote workers, not just as a place to sleep. The kids' bedroom has a shark and octopus theme, four Twin XL beds, books, and arts and crafts. Baby gear is already here: crib, travel high chair, baby bathtub, and kid-sized dishes — so you can pack lighter.

Parents get a proper dedicated workspace with fast Wi-Fi and great lighting for video calls, positioned so you can keep an eye on the pool while you work. The kitchen is stocked for real cooking, the laundry room has a full washing machine, and a beach wagon loaded with floats and pool toys is ready to grab and go.

A back porch overlooking the swing set, and a villa manager on property round it out. It's a home built for staying — not just visiting.
